Motif Nashville's Hotel on Music Row

We stayed here for a long weekend and enjoyed the easy access to 12 South and Downtown. Facilities were clean but felt tired. The room had a bathroom door that was hung crooked and thus stuck when closing and the fridge was super noisy. The pool was nice but don’t try to move the lounge chairs - the wheels fell off when picking up the chair. Staff was nice and luggage storage was good. Just don’t expect a perfect stay.

My wife and I here came to Nashville for a work conference. We transferred to the Motif for one night after the conference ended before traveling home. The Motif was by far nicer than the fancy expensive hotel provided by the office, the staff is wonderful, the rooms are spacious even the studio suite. Their in room coffee maker isn’t one the typical cheep throw away ones that barely heats water. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Nashville and will recommend to our friends to come down.

My trip experience was great! Everything was very clean, the pool was nice, and the front desk lady SaLeema was super nice and accommodating! She held our luggage at the front desk as my friend and I explored the town. She was seriously the best

Really fantastic hotel in the perfect location. Clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped. Unable to use the balcony due to the overpowering fumes from whatever the room below were smoking, which also carried into the whole of our living space… but otherwise, excellent.

We wanted to like the Motif, as there are aspects to like (great location, pool, and modern, clean apartment-like rooms). But the beds are quite possibly the most uncomfortable and cheap beds we’ve ever slept in. The mattress is something you’d find at an overnight camp and it sits on a hard wooden slat - no box spring, just a cheap as can be stiff (but not in a good way) mattress. We woke up stiff and sore all over both mornings and tossed and turned during the night. The tv in our bedroom was also not functioning with a wire hanging down that needed more than just plugging in (after inspecting, the hotel said they’d need a technician to come in and us out of the room). Apart from two terrible nights of sleep, we appreciated the kitchen, living area, and clean modern design (if not a bit sterile/sparse). The pool is nice - we used it. We appreciated there was free street parking we could find (not guaranteed but worth trying as there is some). The Motif is a nice option in a great location but seriously needs to upgrade its beds asap.

Staff was amazing. So courteous. Very helpful in all needs. Room was clean and hotel is perfect in the downtown area. It is such a great experience. My kids were so excited to be here. Nice to relax when we aren’t doing our activities. First time staying at this hotel. Looking forward to our visit.
