Property Description
You will fall in love with this quintessential beach house situated on 110' of private shoreline on Sand Bay, just 7 miles from downtown Sturgeon Bay, in the "Cape Cod of the Midwest," Door County, Wisconsin. This waterfront beach house has some of the most picturesque Eastern-facing views of the sunrise in the area. With a walk-out, sand bottom bay, you and your group can wade, swim, fish or float around the clear, temperate and gorgeous waters. Our 2-story beach house boasts nearly 1500 square feet of living space with 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a utility room with washer and dryer & shower, a living room with Fire Stick TV, dining room, sitting room with Roku TV and board games, kitchen with large island bar, attached garage we call the world's largest dock box, filled with bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards, a splash mat, foosball table, fishing poles & more all to help you make the best family memories to last a lifetime! Stretching from the shoreline is your own private dock for use to launch water toys into the bay or to sit and soak up the sun! Situated on 7000 square feet of land, you can spend time off the water on the plush, manicured and landscaped lawn sitting in the shade of the gazebo or in the sunshine while relaxing on cushioned outdoor furniture, taking a well-deserved nap on the patio sofa, playing bean bag toss with your group, swinging from the giant tree swing or grilling out. 2025 Exciting update: we have installed a spacious patio of durable stone pavers leading from the house to the water and wrapping to the side lawn, giving you a space for outdoor dining, morning coffee & evening bonfires with s'mores! Please pardon the temporary bare spots as the the new grass is in the process of growing in around the new patio. Thank you for your understanding as the landscaping settles in.
The water that runs to the home is from a private well. If you are accustomed to drinking city water, we want to give you some information about well water. Ferric Iron (Fe) and Manganese (Mn) are found together in many private wells. Although it can give the water a yellowish tint, it does not pose any risk to health and is completely safe to drink. Our well is tested annually and you can find our latest report in the back of this book., swinging from the giant tree swing or grilling out! Take your morning coffee or tea out on patio or set a chair atop the grand glacier stones while watching the sunrise. A Nespresso machine and a drip coffee pot are in the kitchen ready to kick start your day! The house is also equipped with a high speed Electric Vehicle charging point and WiFi to keep you connected. Sand Bay Point is a peninsula between the waters of Sand Bay and Riley's Bay with a 2-mile loop around the perimeter, great for morning runs or evening strolls. Haines Park, a public sand beach, is a half mile away and is a fun spot for building sand castles and having sunset picnics. Want to get out on a boat to fish the fresh water? There are plenty of nearby boat launches for your fishing or cruising adventures. Visit https://www.doorcounty.com/experience/boating-sailing-paddling/boat-launches for more details.

Shopping for vacation supplies is easy from the beach house. Within just 6-10 miles, you'll find cheese shops, Target, Walmart, boutique, local grocers & more.

The picture of this dock is very deceiving. It is really small. Brought our fishing poles and couldn’t fish from the dock. House was clean, and bedrooms were nice. Only had a charcoal grill and we had to go out and buy charcoal in order to make dinner the first night. Not all places sell charcoal, so come prepared.

Spacious house with plenty of room for our family of 5 on vacation. Loved riding the bikes around the 2 mile loop. Enjoyed the paddle board and kayaks. Savored our nights on the new paver patio! We didn't realize there was no AC until reading a review on the drive up. The first evening was pretty toasty, but cooled down quickly once we opened the house up, and then we were able to manage the temperature by keeping the curtains closed and windows open during the day. Would definitely stay here again! Loved it!

Perfect Getaway
The hosts were awesome in keeping us updated about property improvements (beautiful new patio they put in after we booked). Check in was super easy. They did an outstanding job with all of the amenities provided. The kayaks were a huge hit for sure as was the foosball table for my not so outdoorsy son. We are already talking about going about going back in the future. Thanks for a great property.

We had a wonderful stay in July. The house is a lovely location, quiet and peaceful, but near enough to Sturgeon Bay to enjoy shopping and restaurants. Our boys had the best time using the dock to access the water and we all tried out the kayaks. The kitchen had all the dishes we needed to cook at home in the evenings which allowed us to relax after morning explorations. Kelly responded quickly to my messages and helped make our stay just right. We hope to stay here again sometime!

It was an amazing week. Lots of fun memories created. Loved the location and everything the place offered. Only reason I didn’t give it a perfect scow as that it had no air conditioning. Our stay was a super hot week; we did okay during the day but it was hard to sleep. Will return again but at a different month. Thank you

Great place for a family exploring Door County!
Kelly's place was perfect for our stay in Door County. A great place to bring both grandparents and our family of four together, and even fun during a rainy stretch! Our boys loved the foosball table and all of the games. Comfy beds and SUPER clean - we had a fantastic trip!
