Bjerkvik Hotell

This is more of a review of the management then of the hotel itself. I was supposed to work there as a housekeeper and was travelling there for 14 hours. The manager doesn't care about the employees at all and the communication with him is absolutely horrendous. He didn't explain anything in advance, I had to ask everything. 1.) He promised to pick me up from the airport, but one day before my arrival he suddenly said that he won't and I have to take a bus. It's not about the bus. It's about the promise and lack of communication. 2.) I arrived at midnight, didn't even know where to go, because I had to live in a house and not in a hotel. So I went to reception and the receptionist told me that they are fulI and that I will live in a house (that was agreed upon from the beginning). He even showed me a message that someone told him that I'll live in a house. I opened the room and wanted to cry. He wanted 3000 NOK FOR THIS. There were leaves, mess, smelly bed linen, no socket, no lamp, RANDOM OBJECTS ON THE FLOOR. 3.) The next day he finally answered my message and was asking where I am, that I should have had a room in the hotel and that I didn't even come there :))). I think that he's actually ill, so maybe it's not his fault. This was the biggest and most expensive mistake, 500€ just for the flight tickets. The only good thing were the employees, so shout out to you!! And consider a different hotel, there are plenty better hotels in Norway:) PS: The photos are taken from a video, but unfortunateIy I can't post the video.

Super hotel and good location. Restaurant was exellent

I have use this Hotel 2 times for business trip in November this year. I think this are the best hotell in Narvik / Harstad area. New renoveted. Nice food in the restaurant. And nice lounge for relax after a stressfull day. People work here really love what they do, and make top service. I will use this hotell on my business trip to North of Norway!

Nice view To wake up in the morning and look out the window at the sea was really amazing

Best town in Norway IT is way too hot... Says air conditioning but it does not really have air. People who work there are so awesome and kind.
