Naracoorte Hotel Motel

The bathroom is newly renovated. The beds were clean and firm. The air conditioner was old and add a bad smell when turned on. There were bowls and cups in cupboard but not really clean and had to wash before using. The door played up and the staff said the batteries had run flat and needed to be changed. So door wasn't working until this was done. Didn't like the sink shared between the toilet and the kitchen. Because it would not drain properly for debris from a bowl of noodles.

We dined in the Bistro Saturday night. I was in Naracoorte to visit family. So, I have dined here many times over the years. The dining room was cold, no one took their puffer coats off. The menu was very ordinary. The wine by glass is on the menu 150ml or 250ml. I asked for two glasses of "The Gable" red. I was advised I could not have the 250ml glass as the till did not have it as a stock item even though it is offered on the menu. I was served my 150ml glass of wine in a glass which was chipped on the rim. The chipped glass was replaced. The meals were delivered to table. We were advised the salad bar is over in the other room, some distance away. The salad bar was a miserable let down. Why the kitchen doesn't put the wilted lettuce, spinach and carrot on the plates I do not know. Don't expect too much.

I'd like to give a special shout out to the gentleman who checked us in. He organised a late check out so my elderly mother could stay in the room and out of the heat while I was at the caves. Thank you so much!

Very convenient location with access to a restaurant.

Great to just walk out the door for tea pub great old building motel was old but clean staff great wasnt expensive did the job for overnight stay. Great location supernarket next door
