For sure I will not recommend this hotel to stay. It is really cold in common space, shower, toilet, even in my room. When I arrived in the evening the temperature in my room was like almost the same as outside, my hands and nose was frozen. There was nobody in the hotel in the evening, so I send a message to hotel staff about this problem, but nobody answered me. Somehow I put hitting system working on, but still it was a cold air. So I had to go sleep in my hat till the middle of the night, when it became warm. The room and common space wasn’t so clean as I expected.
The old house and small garden is really atmospheric. The location is also good and quiet. The price is low, but it shouldn’t be so cold.

I chose a Machiya specifically to experience it. I was assigned what I thought was the best room, a window view room on the second floor. It was full of Japanese style as soon as I entered the door. I recommend staying here.

It was not very clear on the registration sheet whether you need to pay anything extra (I had an advance payment), it turned out everything is fine - if you do not take extra things like a towel, then you do not need to. Your own garden, a large hall in an old house as a common area, tea, coffee. But in cold weather it is cold in the common room, although it is clear that with 2-story ceilings it cannot be heated. In your rooms (hostel) it is warm, everyone even has their own cell for relaxation, although I did not understand why (in the end I kept things there) - you go to see the sights for the whole day.

1. 民宿是比較有歷史的木質老屋，位置還行，離奈良公園不是很遠，周圍是很靜謐的當地小街道。
