Very nice and cool place! I didn't regret staying in Nara. Very authentic, clean, very cheap for Japan. There is everything you need, the bathhouse is good, the breakfast is amazing, we were checked in 3 hours early. Slept like a baby at my grandma's dacha. Just super. I highly recommend this place 🇯🇵❤️ The park is 5 minutes away, at night the deer were right next to the hotel 🥹 and 10 minutes to the train station.

The location is great. It's only ten minutes walk from the subway. Away from the snack street. Nara Park is close. Old hotel facilities are not that complete. A little cold. Turn on the air conditioner. And the water is very cold. The room is very big and a bit intimidating for one person. It’s okay for two people to experience it

I stayed at Jiangquan Inn for two days and one night, the staff service and shower facilities were good, only the facilities were a bit older.
The hotel is very close to the station or Nara Park, the room is quite large for me, there is a chance that I can stay again next time I visit Nara.
The breakfast in the morning was really good, really quite good.

Excellent location adjacent to the park. Attentive staff and a fabulous breakfast with clean cosy room and little sitting area and own bathroom. Plenty of dinner eating choices in Nara too. The female bathing is on the 1st floor just follow the arrows! The male bathing is on the 2nd floor. The onsen was nice and relaxing and no one else was using the onsen at the same time as us. We were travelling with our adult soon so had two rooms and each room was identical.

I travelled with my wife and seven year old daughter. Highlights were our traditional Japanese tatami mat room and the Japanese breakfast. If you are a westerner and have not tried these, try both. The room had a feeling of calm. Our stay in it was restful as we padded about carefully in our slippers or socks or bare feet. Though it's a traditional room, there were plenty of sockets for electrical devices. The Japanese breakfast was served at a traditional Japanese table, set low to the floor, with with seating that allowed our legs to dangle below floor level so we felt completely comfortable. There was a great variety of Japanese breakfast dishes to eat. The attitude of the staff is friendly and kind. We felt the peaceful atmosphere of the temples with their wooden floors and no-shoes rule, extending into this hotel. The price was quite reasonable too.
