The Hotel San Marco is easy to miss--with a small, innocuous facade and little signage. But that is belied by what's inside. This hotel is an incredible value: remarkably friendly and professional staff ready to help with any request, large or small; beautiful, clean and spacious rooms; and the perfect location for visitors in town who want to see all the important spots in a relatively short amount of time. We were guests of the San Marco hotel the first week of September and we had a good time, a small but quiet hotel, clean and equipped with everything one needs. The staff was always present and very helpful. My husband had problems climbing the stairs in the room where the elevator did not reach and they immediately replaced it with another more comfortable one. The hotel's location is excellent for visiting the city and in front of the Municipio metro stop. I recommend it.

Very poorly maintained hotel. Externally it appears old and in bad shape. The room inside had a window placed high up with a prison-type grate. Old furniture, broken tiles. Without any comfort. No wardrobe no safe, no hangers. Old bathroom. In the shower not even a shelf to place shower gel. Bedside tables full of dust. Small and cramped breakfast room. Without plates to serve yourself. Little variety. The only positive note is the location. Not recommended. It is absolutely not a 3 star. And bad value for money
