We have to wait half an hour for the receptionist to let us in and check- in, the location is a bit tricky to find they must provide more instructions , it’s a clean place and also not too bad for the price . Breakfast is not exist and the photos on the website are not from the exact hotel .

The hotel is well suited in three city centre, surrounded with several buildings, supermarkets and subway stations although it's hard to find from the street.
The girl who is working at the reception desk is more than friendly and helpful.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good too. In addition, the reception was flexible, such as arranging a taxi.

I DO NOT RECCOMEND IT the location is quite near the station, the rooms are nice, but the receptionist has been rude to me, she asked me the day after I got there "to pay now or tomorrow" with a smirk on her face, but I would have left 2 days after. I have travelled quite enough to say I have never been asked to pay 2 days before I would have left, like I were a thief. I had booked through booking, so they had all my information, my credit card, name, surname etc. I would not return there. Another unpleasant situation haD happened when I left the hotel at 9 o'clock am to visit Napoli, then I came back at 2 pm, but my room door was wide open; fortunately nobody stole my stuff, but when I call the owner, (because no one was at the reception) she told me in a rude way that the wind let the door open, it could not be true, because my window was close.

It's in the seedy side of town. The women were a little scared walking around there at night. When walking in the front door you have to step over a 6"high ledge. Three of us banned our heads walking in, to the point I cut my head and the blood ruined my new hat I just bought while in Italy. Then you have to remember to watch out for a 4" post holder sticking up from the ground, right as you walk in, and in line with walking to the steps. The day manager is arrogant and ignorant with no customer relations experience. Rooms were tiny especially if staying for 12 nights. No common area to meet your travel companions. The maid was nice, but kept turning off our AC and lowering our fridge and unplugging everything we had plugged in like charging our phones every morning when they cleaned. I would not recommend even if your on a budget vacation. Find a better hotel. Our loss could be your gain.

The odor coming out of the bathroom was so disgusting that it literally made my wife and me sick to my stomach. I covered the toilet and other drains with towels to no avail. The odor never went away. I told the manager and had to check out early. He said that he would not refund my last 4 nights even though he had my room rented with another person the same night that we had to leave. There were many other issues but this is reason enough. Please do not make the same mistake.

This was a really basic hotel right in the middle of the action. It was clean, comfortable, with a nice little continental breakfast thrown in. The staff were so helpful. It’s all you need for a city break when you are usually out more than you are in. Great value for money. It was a bit tricky to find. Look out for the Mele Pellicce sign outside the front. Thank you to all the lovely staff for your kindness and help. 🙏🏽💕💕💕

We stayed in this guest house 17-21 April 2023. We would very much recommend any traveller to stay here, the place is very clean and comfortable and we found it a great location. A lovely continental breakfast each morning with plenty choice and the hotel itself is very secure as it is on the first floor and you have 3 locked doors to get through before you get to your room. It's very near the train station and plenty places to eat nearby. Reception is not manned at night and we arrived at 8pm and the door was closed but when we rang the number on the door they came after about 5 minutes and checked us in. The bed was massive and very comfortable, we had a lovely balcony to look out, also free Wi-Fi, and a safe, TV and fridge in the room.

Slightly mixed opinion of Napoli’s gold hotel. It’s interesting to say the least. First, I’d like to say the room was immaculately clean and fairly modern with comfortable beds and a balcony. Air conditioning didn’t work but we just had our balcony door open for 30 mins before we went to sleep. The bathroom in the room was fine, although the shower was almost impossible to get to the correct temperature, 1mm either way was too hot or cold and the water drained really slowly. But overall the room was good. The reason for the 3.5 rating is the breakfast room. Pretty poor. The breakfast room is tiny and miserable to be entirely honest. And I know you can’t expect much from a continental breakfast but it was pretty sad. Also the staff didn’t speak English although claiming too, and of course this isn’t a reason to complain, it is in Italy, but they claim to speak English here. The staff certainly aren’t as pictured in suits and ties either….. The location is pretty good, just out the main part. The weird thing is the security on this hotel. 4 keys, one for the big wooden gate, one for the metal gate, one for the hotel door and one for the room. Wow. Remember to push the wooden gate when unlocking it else you’ll be staying outside! Although I don’t plan to return to Naples, there would be worse places to stay than to stay here again. It’s a 3 star hotel….

The signs of disorganisation started a few days before arrival. They kept on sending me emails in Italian about a problem with payment details and threatening to release the room. This despite the fact that our bill was to be paid at the hotel and not in advance. Then came the pestering for our arrival time. Strange as the whole concept of a hotel is that you turn up whenever you like (within reason, normally up to midnight). On the day of arrival we got another request for arrival time and within thirty minutes we replied 3-4pm. We duly arrived at 3.15pm and the hotel was closed. No reply at the front gate, no reply on the phone, no reply by email, no reply by sms. So the four of us waited in 32 degrees heat for a while with sweat sticking our clothes to our bodies. Then a French couple turned up and faced the same predicament with us. In the end we decided to go eat at a local restaurant. I sent a message for the hotel to contact us when they opened. No such message came and after further repeated attempts to contact the hotel by phone I started searching for alternative hotels online. Meanwhile my wife went back to the hotel to check in person. She found the receptionist showing up around 4.30 or so. No apologies, no compensation. But eventually we were able to check in. The room was as pictured, with good air conditioning and clean. It was difficult to get the shower to the desired temperature so I ended up having to take a warmer shower than wanted. The plugs in the sink and bidet didn’t retain water, while the plug in the bath couldn’t be opened to let the water out. The toilet seat was loose and kept slipping whenever anyone used the toilet. There is traffic noise due to the location on a busy road. Beds are firm. Breakfast was ok - baked goods, yoghurts, rolls, jam, eggs, salami - but no fruit and the coffee wasn’t great. I wouldn’t go back.

Hotel has good location very close to old town. Really nice rooms with balcony. Clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast also good. Staff very helpful. Stephan gave us good advice for dinner locations. We had rental car and Stephan parked our car for 25€.
