Helpful staff Well let me start by stating that Daniela was very nice and helpful. The room was clean. However, what I read in the reviews was correct. The sewer gas smell was terrible. Had to keep the door closed to the bathroom or the entire room smelled. The area around the room was not a desirable neighborhood. I did not feel comfortable at night walking in this area. Very sketchy. The breakfast was good, very Italian brioche and cappuccino. So no complaints on that. I would recommend staying on the Lungo Mare. Much better area. More expensive but safer and cleaner. I stayed there in my last visit and was much more satisfied if you want to feel safe. However if you want to be close to the historical downtown then this B&B is really close by. It also very close to the main train station, where there were several good places to eat.
