Lakeview Inn

Anthony & Leila are the best! This was our second stay at the Inn. We love the view, the breakfasts were awesome and the inn is within walking distance to restaurants and other activities. Highly recommend and hope to stay there again in the future! (One note: the Inn is on a fairly busy road, and it would be nice if the town installed a sidewalk/ walkway to get to the river activities.)

My GF & I just spent 3 nights at the Inn. We totally enjoyed the experience. The 3 course breakfast created each day by Chef (and Innkeeper ) Anthony was delicious and served by Leila ( Innkeeper) who was most pleasant and enjoyable to converse with during the process. We learned that Anthony had culinary training before going into the corporate world. His baking skills produced fabulous muffins made from scratch, as well as his main breakfast offerings each morning. The room was spotless with all the little accessories in the bathroom you would need. The bed was very very comfortable as well. The stairs to each floor are a bit steep but that is outlined in their website as well as detailed descriptions of each guest room. Other needed information concerning the inn are also in their website information. It is certainly a great place for mature folks to relax and enjoy the local area.

We have been going to this property for years with the previous owners and loved it. Mike and Patti made everyone feel welcome. This was the opposite. I asked the owner for a gluten free option for my wife and suggested scrambled eggs (since they were making pancakes and obviously had eggs). She angrily said no and reminded me that she had posted the menu the night before. When I said ok and we walked out to go somewhere else she followed me out and berated me in front of other guests, who came up after to tell me they were appalled by her behavior. She repeated that we had been told the menu and I again explained my wife could not eat it, but she again sneered that we had been told the menu the night before. When I said we would go somewhere else to eat she again said we knew the menu. The next am the menu was not posted and when I asked her what was available again she told me to check the posting, of which there was none. She literally would not tell me even though it is a set menu. Also the wifi didn't work, there was little to no water pressure in the sink and shower, the pillows were poor, there was no housekeeping and on one side of the room and in the bathroom if you didn't duck you would bang your head, especially at night in the dark. We have had many wonderful stays at that property under 2 previous owners but we will never go back.

Absolutely amazing stay! My girlfriend absolutely adored the place! She felt super comfortable and loved the cozy atmosphere as well as the hospitality of the hosts.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lakeview - last minute booking and it did not disappoint! Leila and Anthony are wonderful hosts - and the 3 course breakfasts on their front porch with views of the lake are not to be missed! We will definitely be returning when we visit Sebago Lake again.

The inn is ideally located for visiting the Naples Causeway. You can walk to the restaurants and various shops. The room we stayed in was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast served each morning was delicious. Having said that.....as previous reviews mentioned, there are a number of rules at the inn and extra charges if you do not follow the rules. There is no housekeeping during your stay and you are responsible for your own trash removal upon leaving. The television reception was poor and the road below can be loud.
