The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón

My family and I always go to the Ritz hotel because of quality and elegance but this time it left us disappointed. The food was super bland, comparable to a school cafeteria. Service was good but we got here late after going to the cinema and there was no one at the lobby. This hotel leaves a lot to desire, Ritz should make sure the quality of their hotels is good across the board.

We are regular annual guests and are never disappointed by our stays. The brilliant Ladies and Gentlemen at the property deliver a seemless and excellent service which we appreciate greatly being slightly older than most guests. Yes the property needs a significant update with plumbing issues in our room and the noisy event tent below our room (a high golf course view room) but the location and ambiance make it a very peaceful and delightful place to stay-we were there for 11 nights. We understand that the property is due to be modernised in a couple of years-not before time. Yes there are frustrations but the overall ambiance and spotless service leave one feeling relaxed and satisfied that despite the significant room costs plus extras (resort fees, taxes and parking fees) very good value has been delivered. We shall be back.

Wonderful experience

Loved how the property is tucked in, feels exclusive. The staff is courteous and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable, beautiful bathrooms! Property has everything you need for a fabulous vacation - gym and pool were lovely.

OK... Stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburon a few nights to celebrate my wife and daughter's birthday. When we checked in, we were told that our room was sold out - despite the fact that we prepaid for it - and they had no rooms with a king bed available. The best they could offer us was two double beds. We told them that would not work as our little one sleeps with us, especially when we are traveling. They offered us an "upgrade" at a discounted rate of an ADDITIONAL $400/night. We had to spend an ADDITIONAL $1200 to have a "comfortable" stay. Once we finally upgraded, we went up to our room to order room service. As with most room service, it is expensive, which is expected, but their all-day menu was super limited. By our second night, we were tired of the limited options and ordered out. For the premium price, I expected more modern, contemporary feel to the hotel, but it was extremely dated. We stayed at another Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne and it was the same thing. Funny enough, there was an issue with our room there and they upgraded our room at no additional charge. AC in room started off strong & then turned off midway through the night. I would have to get up to try to get it going again. The most redeeming thing about this hotel, the service from staff - minus those at check-in. We had our toddler with us and Miranda at Lemonia brought her a rubber ducky and Ummar from dining brought her a tray of cookies and fruit basket. Pool staff was great too.

The staff was incredible. The property and furnishings are very dated and worn. They would benefit from more dining options. Again the staff was absolutely top notch.
