Holiday Inn Express & Suites Naples Downtown - 5TH Avenue

Excellent hotel! The location is perfect — very close to both 5th ave. and the beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the front desk staff was always very friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great stay.

Everything about this hotel is worth the price! Is fantastic

Beautiful grounds, heated pool, pool area and tiki bar were great, food was very nice and a really good breakfast. Comfy bed and pillows. Was very quiet during our visit which was fine for us. Good value for money. Lost one star due to room smelling damp and no recognition of our IHG rewards status (we had to mention it for reward points).

The rooms at the Holiday Inn were clean and well appointed. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful with a variety of fruit and yogurt with eggs and pancakes. The location is great for getting to all of the downtown Naples restaurants and shops, but the beach access is hindering due to the $5 per hour parking and it being a little too far to walk with beach chairs. The staff was very friendly on every occasion that we needed anything, however, we weren’t given any concierge information that would have helped us to find out more about the area. There is a Naples passport book that is given out free in town that answered some of our questions about things to do and beach access with parking information that would be a great handout to receive when we checked in. We were there for a week and discovered that when going on the trolley half way through our visit. We have visited many hotel properties that have given us free shuttle services to a nearby downtown or beach area which makes for a 5 star visit. Overall, it was an enjoyable trip and the pool was beautiful and a perfect temperature for swimming and it was always kept clean.

Excellent experience! The hotel manager was incredibly helpful and kind and was able to get us in our room early. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed . The pool area has free cabanas and a well stocked Tiki bar - tropical with a large pool. I travel a lot and am very picky and this exceeded expectations.

We had reservations at another hotel but upon reading the reviews and the ghost charges, we decided to cancel and look for a better option which turned out to be the Holiday Inn Express Naples downtown. The value offered by IHG/Holiday Inn Express is quite impressive in these days of low value: The welcoming was appreciated and our request for a complimentary early check in met with generosity and a smile. The room super clean (a rarity nowadays) and fresh. No fighting with the soap bar as everything is in push containers ready for use and of good quallty (Dove). The lighting in the room was as bright or as dim as wanted. The hotel provided free parking on the premise. And complimentary breakfast in a dedicated area that didn't feel like leftover (again rare) was enjoyed. What we noticed especially is that everywhere details had been thought of and provided, like lemon ice water near the elevator, super clean elevators by the way, coffee ready in the lobby all day long, a nice clean pool area with cabanas for privacy or families, towels that were not thin and overused, and staff saying good morning and helpful! All these small things represent value and attention to details; this hotel offers it in a splendid manner. We will not only recommend this one but we will seek IHG now when on the road again. Someone at IHG understands what value is and delivers it: Bravo!
