This is a quiet, comfortable, dependable motel just a couple of minutes from Highway 401. As you can tell from the picture, the building is undistinguished in appearance, and there's nothing special about the rooms, which resemble most other rooms in the major North American chains in size and features. The welcome at the front desk was efficient and friendly in a by-the-book sort of way. They have a form for you to sign, and initial at three paragraphs, which does give a slightly adversarial feeling to the transaction. The price was fair though when I was there (the price varies from day to day) not a bargain. There's just one elevator for three floors (above the ground floor) so you'll need to be patient sometimes. The beds were comfortable; the wifi worked well; there were enough electrical outlets. The bathroom functioned well, but there was only less than half a roll of toilet paper available. The bathroom mirror had a sign telling you what they'll charge you if you take a towel (personally I've never been tempted to take a towel from a motel room); this added to my sense that the management sees its customers as potential problems. The breakfast (included in the price) was better than average in diversity, with sausage, scrambled eggs, and potatoes as hot features. The attendant at breakfast was very friendly. Checkout was simple. Really the only comparable choice for accommodation in Napanee is the Hampton Inn, visible from the 401. I went with Comfort because it was less expensive, and I'd make the same choice again.
