The fascinating Carneros Manor Hotel 🏨 has a vast vineyard, a charming swimming pool, and a warm garden villa🏡. Have a drink and linger. Swimming alone in the open-air heated swimming pool at night, looking at the starry sky, the moonlight is bright, the wind is clear and the clouds are light, and I don’t know what year it is. My family soaked and relaxed in the hot pool not far away, and the hot air was rising, like a fairyland. I will come again next time.

The resort itself is meticulously maintained and visually stunning. I love the cottage layout - everything feels luxurious and intimate despite the sprawling spaces and grounds. The room itself was remarkably well done- outdoor spaces as part of the room really stood out. Premium amenities and care across all aspects of service, food, comfort and amenities. The adults only pool area was quiet and relaxing and not crowded. The family pool was practically empty as well. A couple of notes to make the resort even better- the towels need to be upgraded and I wish they had provided a map of walking trails or areas from the resort. It was overall a truly special and memorable stay.

The Carneros felt like a glammed up trailer park organized around small courtyards. Most rooms have no view and loud freeway noise. My “upgraded” room, which goes for $1500+ night, was a gussied up she shed. While I understand the hotel can only do so much about the small rooms, the real slap was the “free breakfast,” which was a sad table of pastries and granola and dented pre-peeled hard boiled eggs. They even had the gumption to offer us espresso drinks as part of the free breakfast service and present a surprise bill for them. The level of service would be good & expected from a $3-400/nt hotel, but feels incredibly cheap for the prices they’re charging.

This resort was astounding in so many ways! For just a 1-night stay, we created many wonderful memories. We used a Hilton free night certificate, and our Hilton status gave us an upgrade from the most affordable villa to a villa with an outdoor soaking tub and firepit! (Premier Harvest Cottage?) They escorted us to our wine tasting at Carneros Winery in a deluxe Cadillac, so we could drink as much as possible. ;) Later, we took in a wine and whisky tasting at the resort's Post Tasting Room, where we discovered a phenomenal whisky with a lovely backstory. Then, dinner at the resort's Farm Table restaurant. Couldn't finish our desert, so we had them deliver it to our villa. In the morning, free breakfast (courtesy of Hilton?) at the Hiltop Dining by the pool. Also, tried out the fitness center, which was quite nice. Would love to return again some day.

Left Carneros feeling like I had just been at summer camp for adults. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with friendly faces and a welcoming vibe. The cabins were not only aesthetically pleasing, they provided private outdoor sitting areas with gas campfire. The pool and spa areas were breath taking! The food was delicious.

Carneros Resort and Spa is a beautiful place. The cottages are wonderful and grounds are lush and so well maintained. The staff was very professional and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on returning. Highly recommend!
