The food was delicious.
The bath was also very comfortable. I'd like to go back again. The landlady was also a very nice person.
Also, the entire building was decorated with paintings, bronze statues, and other things, making it a wonderful inn.

いろいろな口コミで、賛否両論あるお宿だったので、興味深く宿泊させていただきました。 結論、その賛否両論はすごくよく理解できました。 私としては結構気に入りましたので、再訪してみたいと思いますが、以下、賛否を書いてみたいと思います。 お部屋の半露天風呂は源泉掛け流しで、硫黄が香って湯花たっぷりの良い温泉です。外の景色は、隣接する公園の石垣と崖です。少し寂しいですが、不忘閣の亥子湯も同じ感じなので、これはこれでありなのではないでしょうか。 空が見えたり、緑が見えたりすれば尚良いことは確かですが、この半露天風呂を独り占めできるという点では私はとても気に入りました。 また、お部屋の中も、広々としてデザインも良いし、綺麗に清掃されていたので、過ごしやすかったです。お手洗いがいつ行ってもいい匂いがしました。お布団も寝心地が良くてぐっすり安眠できました。 夕食も、味付けもよく、おおかたのお品は美味しかったです。とくに山形牛のすき焼きが美味しかったです。*も絶品でした。お肉が2枚でしたが、もう一枚あれば、さらに良かったでしょう。 少し残念だったのが、お刺身がとくに美味しいものでは無かったことと、焼き物のお魚が冷めかけていて固かったことです。社食の焼き魚のほうが美味しかったと思ってしまいました。この二つのお魚料理がもっと美味しければ、夕飯は満点だったと思います。 朝食は、このくらいの量でちょうどいいのです。手作りがんもどきも美味しかったです。焼き鮭と納豆と*があるので文句ありません。温泉*でしたが、生*のまま出てくればよりよかったです。でも自慢の*は美味しかったです。 大浴場ですが、岩風呂も大理石風呂も、昭和のデザインだなーと思います。露天風呂もついていなく、景色もそれほどではなかったです。 館内にたくさんある絵画や彫刻は、私は楽しむことができましたが、好みがわかれるところでしょうね。 また、2階、3階へ向かう階段が急なので手すりを使うのですが、なぜか手すりがベタベタしていました。手すりもしっかりふいておいてほしいなーと思いました。 いろいろ書きましたが、新幹線の赤湯駅からタクシーで5分と近いので、東京の自宅からもドアトゥドアで片道3時間、これは便利です。 硫黄の香る温泉に静かに浸かりたくなったら、また行ってしまうと思います。

I went to Akayu Onsen Yamatoya in Yamagata Prefecture for a girls' trip for the first time in a while. I was worried about the snow, but we arrived safely. I booked the Meiki Room. It was a calming Japanese-style room. There was a private bath (a semi-open-air bath in the hot spring) that you can use 24 hours a day. There was a Roman bath and a rock bath in the building, each with their own atmosphere and the temperature of the water was just right, so I was able to use both. All the fatigue from the trip was blown away in an instant. There was still snow outside, so bathing while watching the snow was the ultimate luxury. For dinner, the main dish was Yamagata beef sukiyaki. I was impressed by the delicious meat that melted in my mouth. I also had a full breakfast. The homemade ganmodoki was different from what I usually eat, and it seemed to be made by a chef, so it was delicious. The landlady was friendly and came to greet me at dinner. It was a great vacation to soak in the hot springs, eat delicious food, and feel the warmth of the people. I thought it would be nice to come again when the cherry blossoms are in bloom.
