Hotel Del Lago

I'd say this place is pretty good value. The biggest surprise was seeing Sun Moon Lake right outside the lobby windows! Our double room was big, had a king bed, and a clean restroom. The only real issues were that the AC looked old, didn't have a heater function, and there was no air purifier.

Excellent hotel with excellent helpful staff and friendliness. We had a mountain view room booked but happily paid an extra $AU 100 a night to upgrade to a lake view room. Worth it I’d say. My only issues are very minor. No coffee supplied in room. Ok, can live with that but the supplied cups for tea were very very small. I like my hot beverage and seemed I had to make 2-3 to make what I would call a normal cup size. Your mileage may vary and it doesn’t take anything away from this excellent stay.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service, and very convenient location!

Great location by the lake. Room was perfect for a family of four. Ample room space including a balcony with a nice view of the lake. Breakfast was standard. Hotel also offers complimentary bicycle rental.

I stayed at this hotel one night. The hotel provides free bikes. When I tried to check out a bike, two staff members talked to me. When I asked which bike I could ride faster, they did not answer my question. Some bikes are just very slow no matter what we do, so I don't want to get one like that. When I asked how long it would take if I wanted to ride in each direction from the hotel without a stop, the male staff member answered my question, but the female staff member kept on talking "Don't ride fast. You are going to get into accidents." Whenever I talked about "fast" like "how fast", "how long it takes", she just kept on talking "Fast is not good." I am a mature individual and I will not go fast if I could not. She just refused to provide information that I was looking for. As long as I return the bike intact, the rest is my own responsibility.
