This is the second time I stayed in the city of Nantes. I feel that the hotel is in a good location and walks to the city center for about 15 minutes. I was in Nantes for the Rugby World Cup game between Japan and Argentina The location is good, the welcome from the staff was good and the breakfast was cafeteria style. When I arrived I was told that I had booked two rooms which I certainly had not and this is still in dispute with Trip! I had an early flight the next morning and booked a morning call at 3am and a taxi for 4am. I never received the 3am morning call but did wake up early to discover that one of my flights had been cancelled so I went down to Reception to cancel my taxi as my airline had re-booked me on a later flight. I reached reception at around 3:30 to find in unattended. I eventually found a cleaner from Emliss Propriorty Service who spoke very basic English and I speak no French. After trying to explain that I wanted to cancel my taxi he got on the phone and spoke to someone else but as I speak no French I was unable to understand what was going on. So a frustrating stay for an international event
