We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 night stay at La Gare Aux Anes. Our room was spacious with a clean comfy bed and shower room. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant, simple tasty and well cooked, and delicious croissants at breakfast. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere but fantastic chance for peace, dark skies and Cevennes walks direct from the hotel. The weather didn't allow us to use the pool but it looked lovely and there was good seating around the area. Most of the guests were using the hotel a a stop over on a trip to or from the Med, but it's definitely worth more than that. Plenty to see and do within a short drive and good walks from the hotel. Staff lovely, helpful and tolerant of our rusty French

Une pepite dans un écrin de verdure et de calme... Le chef vous régale de sa main de chti de frites terribles. Les patrons sont hyper sympathiques. La serveuse ( la femme du chef) Ch'ti aussi vous apportera les assiettes avec sourire et bonne humeur. Nous y sommes allés en moto... Nickel pour le parking. Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables et propres 👍👍... Et le must... La piscine. Bref.. Un petit coin de paradis et oui vraiment une pépite dans un écrin de verdure et de calme ❤️❤️❤️

Very poor. Building in poor condition. Even to point of dangerous. Food poor. Clean bedding. Bathroom worked well but shower head too large for bracket, no rail for towels black grouting. No room service, beds etc left untouched. Nowhere to hang clothing. I am happy with primitive but this was worse

hotel au calme en plein Larzac, réveil le matin avec les oiseaux, chambre spacieuse et propre.Pratique : le restaurant sur place ce qui est appréciable car pas grand chose d’ouvert à proximité. À proximité du site La Couvertoirade

Bonjour, Endroit très convivial avec un tres bon accueil de la patronne toutes les commodités au milieu de nul part . chambre propre pour continuer la restauration est au top produits du terroir Et les plats de l'humeur du chef est une tuerie Déjeuner copieux avec du très bon pain A renouveler pour d'autres randonnées qui sont splendides. Encore merci à Catherine et à toute l'équipe.

J 'ai réservé cet hôtel par rapport aux avis mais quelle déception. chambre pas du tout accueillante meublée avec des vieux meubles qui n'ont pas leur place dans un hôtel. Pas de vue sur l'extérieur car il faut un escabeau pour regarder à travers le vélux. Salle de bain qui ne donne pas envie de s'éterniser , douche pas du tout glamour une rénovation ne serait pas un luxe. Coté restaurant rien d'extraordinaire on mange par nécessité. Pas de lumière extérieur quand on sort du restaurant pour aller à la chambre. Je ne recommande pas du tout cet endroit
