It is the landlord's own house. In the community, living with the landlord feels like living in someone else's home. There are cats, the smell is quite strong, and the room has no curtains

I had a hard time getting into the block where the hostel is is located but the owner helped me doing so which was really nice.
BUT there are 3 cats living I the apartment the hostel is located in and IT BRUTALLY STINKS LIKE CAT URIN in the whole flat. There is also a lot of cat hair.
I wanted to do some work on my laptop but the smell in the hostel was so bad that I had to search for a place in the city to do so.
In the kitchen there where leftovers of food from a few days ago everywhere.
That's a bummer, because the owner seems to be a nice guy but the points mentioned above are really bad.

The hostel is quite hard to find (inside a group of buildings). The hostel keeper is absolutely great. He is very friendly and fantastically helpful for a solo traveler who does not speak chinese.
