Latest Reviews for Nanjing Hotels

Lakeview Xuanwu Hotel
4.7/55059 Reviews
Shanxi Road Area
This hotel’s location is really good. It is located right next to a major shopping mall with lots of good restaurants and stores. It’s located within walking distance from Xuanwu Gate 玄武门 and Xuanwu Lake 玄武湖. It’s right next to a subway that provides easy access to other parts of Nanjing like the Nanjing Museum 南京博物院 or the Confucian Temple area 夫子庙. The rooms were clean and everything in it felt high quality. The view of Nanjing from my room was beautiful. Although the hotel staff are very friendly, I marked the service and amenities as 4/5 for a few reasons. First, laundry is relatively expensive whereas at Atour 亚朵 it’s free. If i remember correctly, they wanted me to pay 35 or so rmb per article of clothing. Secondly, the hotel allows delivery of takeout but they do not send it to your room like they do at Atour 亚朵. You have to go to the lobby and pick it up yourself. These are the only two things that stop me from giving all 5/5s. Other than that, I loved this hotel especially for its location and comfortable rooms. If you dont care about doing laundry or having takeout ordered directly to your room, then those two criticisms are relatively minor things. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel regardless.
Mingfa Pearl Spring Hotel
4.8/5482 Reviews
Jiangpu Tangquan Area
A five-star hotel, the room service facilities are definitely perfect. It was very cheap to book on Ctrip, and the front desk also helped to upgrade the room for free. The hotel is next to the Pearl Spring Scenic Area. Every morning when you open the window, you can smell the fresh air and the faint sweet-scented osmanthus fragrance in the scenic area! Two tickets to the scenic area were given as gifts. I got up in the morning and took a walk around, and I felt relaxed and happy all day. The hotel is in the suburbs, but the transportation is very convenient. It takes about half an hour to drive to the Presidential Palace, Xuanwu Lake, Confucius Temple and other scenic spots. I will choose this hotel next time I come to Nanjing!
