Hotels in Tengwang Pavilion/ Bayi Uprising Memorial Museum, Nanchang

We used the hotel for a quick stopover. Location is brilliant, right across the road from Teng Pavillon and only a quick Taxi ride to the major sights. The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was awesome, also considering the relatively low price. There were salad, fruits, bread, cold cuts, cheese, chinese dishes, variety of eggs, noodles typical steamed items etc. so both Chinese and Western selections. The rooms are not new, but were absolutely clean (no carpet in the room), everything worked properly and it suits the price - considering the hotel location it is a very good deal.

All the rooms have carpet, so imagine. My first room was nonsmoking by sign alone. The smell, ashtray and cigarette burns on the carpet said otherwise. The second room was similar. Both rooms AC return filters looked like velvet. I’m surprised any air enters. The third room was nicer than the first and the smell was only the carpet. The non smoking elevator lobbies have ashtrays too, with fresh ashes in the sand. Clearly, guests are getting mixed signals. Threaten the deposit if smoking in non smoking rooms or areas!! I am picky, and I took only one star off because everything else was very clean. The breakfast selection, venue, and views were awesome! Overall, it’s a good price for what you get.

The room is very comfortable and the hotel is in a very good location. It is very close to Wanshou Palace, Tengwang Pavilion and Dashuyuan and can be reached by walking. The service attitude of the hotel is also very good. They are willing to provide help. They are smiling and friendly everywhere they go. The hotel's toothbrush is the most comfortable I've ever stayed in. It doesn't bleed when I brush it. They all want to connect. The candies at the front desk are also delicious. Best hotel in Nanchang since 2017. No competition. Breakfast has improved since then, and I’ve stayed here for months at a time. Great maid service, especially Mrs. Ke Lizhen, she has been working hard everyday, always positive and cleans quickly/thoroughly! Beautiful hotel and rooms are very cheap for the spaciousness and quality. Always bring me fruit, snacks etc 10/10, will always be my goto hotel in Nanchang!

After staying in a king-size bed room for one night, I stayed in the original room. I booked the wrong room type, and the front desk 💁🏻♀️ helped me to modify it and I continued to stay in a king-size bed room. I highly recommend the renovated king-size bed room type, which has automatic curtains and projection TV. The twin room that my sisters stayed in was still an old room that had not been renovated.

The experience was very good, the staff were enthusiastic [Sun], and the check-in was efficient and fast. During my stay, the service was attentive and meticulous, and any needs could be responded to in a timely manner. The hotel has a comfortable environment and complete facilities. It is very close to the Wanshou Palace and Tengwang Pavilion. There is also the subway within two steps. The room is very big. Everything at the front desk is super clean. The young brothers, young ladies, and the cleaning aunts are all so polite and it seems that the usual training is very good. Their affection is better than that of a large number of hotels that are much more expensive! ! ! Special praise to the front desk guy who accidentally stained the sheets at around three o'clock in the middle of the night. He went to the front desk to find someone. Before I even got there, he stood up to say hello and gave me a brand new sheet and duvet cover. Thank you very much. ! ! ! ! Don’t go anywhere next time, just stay here! ! !

The hotel is in a good location, less than 10 minutes walk to the Wanshou Palace and the August 1st Memorial Hall, about 15 minutes walk to the Tengwang Pavilion and the Dashiyuan, and close to Metro Line 1. The entrance is a one-way street, and the sidewalk is not easy to walk on. The river view room can see the Tengwang Pavilion, and the night view is beautiful. The room is very large, but the large floor-to-ceiling window of the river view room faces west, which is very sunny, so be careful when it is hot. The decoration of the room is a bit old, and the layout of the sockets and switches is not reasonable, which causes inconvenience to living. The bathroom is large, but the layout is unreasonable, and there is no place to hang towels. Breakfast is eaten in the revolving restaurant on the 26th floor. It is amazing and overlooks the city view. The food generally does not change much. There is a heated swimming pool, table tennis room, chess and card room, etc. It is generally okay and worth the price.

When ordering takeout, it is very convenient to make a note to let the rider put it in the hotel robot. I always go for breakfast around nine o'clock, and there are very few people. Except for the first day when there were very few dishes, the dishes at this time in the next two days are still sufficient. Mixed noodles, soup noodles, small wontons, clay pot soup, fermented rice dumplings, rose soy milk, there are many delicious ones! The hotel took the initiative to send me afternoon tea in the afternoon before leaving, but because I wanted to make sure I caught the train, I didn't enjoy it, but thank you very much!
