Hotels in Bayi Square/Wangfujing, Nanchang

Very strange. After checking in, I went out for dinner. While gone, I got some messages on WeChat from the front desk that there was a problem. When I returned, they told me that they couldn't register me and they needed more information. This is the first time that I had to show and have pictures taken of all my work visas I have had since I last entered the country six years ago, especially since there is no problem with my current visa. I don't know if it is the hotel itself that wanted this or the local PSB when they were registering me. Whatever the reason, it made me feel unwelcome. Other foreigners wanting to stay here - you might not be welcome. The law says that they must accept you, and they will accept you, but you know that they still don't want you to be there.

Love this place! First they upgraded my room to a river view, without additional fee, what a beautiful scene! Excellent breakfast buffet! Very friendly front staff, service staff, and banquet servers. If you have any requests they deal with them super fast. Very nice facility, close to everything - tourist high points (wanshou gong, bayi museum, pedestrian street, tengwangge) all are within walking distance, night street food market is like 20 meters away, convenient transportation option, subway station is a few minutes walking away. Overall, very happy for the staying experience with Oriscene garden hotel!

The lobby is amazing. During the entire stay, the warm reception at the front desk made me feel the hotel staff's persistent pursuit of service quality. The room 🈶 reception fruit, 🈶 welcome cakes, and cultural and creative cloth bags were given the next day. The room is very large, especially the bathroom, with a large bathtub. A square stool is considerately placed, which may be used to take care of the elderly bathing. The breakfast is also very rich, with local specialties such as clay pot soup and noodles, as well as white sugar cakes, so you don't have to go to the street to find them. The transportation is very convenient, Yongshu Road Station, and there are also some food, such as folk restaurants. When travelling, especially with a kid, cleanliness in a room is THE priority. Well, the room was NOT clean. The counter top in the bathroom was stained AND dirty, the room was dusty (you could see dust on the mirrors and other surfaces) and the floor was full of shoes footprints of different types. We asked for the room to be cleaned as we checked in, while we went for a walk, more than one our later we came back, the room was dirty as we left it. I’m sorry but for such a price, in a 5 star hotel, this is absolutely not acceptable. Besides, I seriously doubt that the measurements of the room are correct as it seemed waaaay smaller than what officially stated in the room info. The view of course is breathtaking, that’s true. Mind also that there is absolutely no separation between the wet room and the bedroom, no door, no curtains…so no privacy while taking a bath. And also that there is no fridge. The lady at the reception was lovely, really kind, but it doesn’t make up for a dirty room.

The room was very comfortable and we were upgraded to a room type. The lady at the front desk was very attentive and the service was very enthusiastic. Any problems will be solved immediately. And traveling around the hotel is also super convenient. The subway is about 100 meters away. The room is very clean, and there is also a fruit delivery service, which is really thoughtful. Worth recommending.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the subway entrance, and a few hundred meters walk to Bayi Square. The room is very clean, with dry and wet areas separated, and there is a pole in the bathroom for hanging clothes. The restaurant on the first floor has a discount package for hotel customers, and the food tastes good. Recommended

The room was quite spacious and spotlessly clean, complete with a mini-fridge. For its price point, it's hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed in! The hairdryer in the room was surprisingly good too, with such a gentle airflow that I'm seriously considering getting one myself! Its location is also very convenient, close to most attractions and well-connected by public transport. The laundry facilities were excellent, too, with integrated washer-dryer machines and a very clean space. A real bonus! The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly friendly and patient, answering all my questions about the hotel. I also appreciated the one-touch call button for the front desk – so convenient not having to dial a number! Plus, they even have a robot that delivers items to your room. Overall, if I get the chance to visit Nanchang again, I will definitely be staying here.

Nice hotel. Even i stay only few hours. Very close to the railway station. But all the taxi called by didi didn't find the hotel parking so need to find them on the street. Breakfast open at 6h30am

Service staff were nice and helpful. Room was good but heater was not working. It was freezing cold 6deg and the window could not be closed because it was locked. Noise from traffic and people shouting outside could be heard late into the night.

The facilities are also good, the elevator is also very good, the aisle is also very good, the water is not the best. The water is relatively small when taking a bath, which is not satisfactory, and the others are very satisfied.
