Es schimpft sich 5 Sterne. Es war die teuerste Unterkunft unserer Namibia Rundreise. Einmal und nie wieder. Absoluter Fehler dorthin zu gehen. Selbst ein Mitarbeiter gab im Gespräch zu, es wäre bessere gewesen zum Beispiel das Makuti etosha zu buchen anstelle des emanyas.
Kein gratis Wasser, keine Moskito Netze, absurd schlechtes Frühstück, schlechtes „5-Gänge-Dinner“(pre starter waren 2 Stücke getrocknete Wurst auf einem Zahnstocher), kein geschultes Personal, Personal aus dem gastro Bereich macht tagsüber Fuß Massagen, Personal aus dem Check in Bereich macht tagsüber nach 20 minütigen warten auch die Bar am Pool. Starke Kommunikationsprobleme. Nicht kritikfähig. Jedoch ist es wohl allen wichtig das man ihre Namen später bei einem Feedback Bogen aufs Papier schreibt im Bezug auf positiver Erscheinung. Man sagt mir es gäbe keine Moskitonetze im Zimmer. Unsere Nachbarn erzählen uns später dass die ein Netz über dem Bett hängen haben. Absolut sinnlos. Zimmer sehen alt und geschmacklos aus. Türschloß total schwergängig. Überall in Namibia Wasser kostenlos im Zimmer. Hier der Hinweis man könne es kaufen. Feedback Zettel wird beim Frühstück ausgeteilt. Sollte grundsätzlich anonym sein. Beim checkout wird einem dann der Zettel vorgehalten und erneut auf einzelne Aspekte hin befragt. Meine Check in Dame fragte mich zum Beispiel warum ich nicht ihren Namen positiv erwähnt habe auf dem Zettel. Absolut absurd. Also Definitiv nicht empfehlenswert! Die Bilder auf den hotelportalen trügen. Personal benimmt sich als wäre es das ritz Carlton dabei ist es nur irgendein unterdurchschnittliches 2 Sterne Haus im Busch.

Fantastatic lodge. Much better than the ones inside the park. Beautiful building. Peaceful and elegant decoration. Try the foot spa: the staff is so nice! We reallly had a wonderful experience.

This is directed to the manager and owner. I found your lodge and staff lovely. However, the caged crocodile for the amusement of guests is unsettling and cruel. Please rethink this as we are experiencing the celebration of wildlife in beautiful Africa, and a reptile is being tortured.

More pretense than reality
The rooms were clean, albeit bare. It all seemed a bit bleak and we didn't really feel comfortable. However, even if it is nice for decoration, they have streams of water everywhere, which means there are a lot of mosquitoes there. Overall, it was very cold in the main house at dinner and breakfast, so the food got cold quickly. The food itself was ok but nothing special. The staff made an effort. What we didn't like was that the prices of the activities were different to the prices quoted afterwards.

We had a very nice rest at Emanya after 2 days in Etosha. Both dinner and breakfast were great & the staff were friendly and welcoming.
