Les Tanneurs

We booked one of the suites as it was large and had a kitchenette which was equipped with an induction hob and a microwave plus pots and pans. However there isn’t a bread knife or a sharp knife. In the French speaking part of Belgium this is incredible, how do you cut your baguette? We were assigned room 600 which is at street level and despite having opening windows they could not be used due to privacy, noise, security and the invasion of cigarette smoke. However all this is less important than the waves of unbearable sewerage smells entering the room. The smell is in the entrance, the bathroom and the bedroom. If we had not prepaid then we would have left. The reception staff were unable to help and did not acknowledge that this has been a common complaint. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The historic building, centrally located in Namur, features two commendable restaurants. However, the room equipped with a bubble tub and sauna was notably compact, with the bathroom exceeding the bedroom in size. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the room was unsatisfactory, requiring a thorough dusting even after communication with management regarding visible dust accumulation. The in-room safe also necessitated repair. Additionally, coffee and tea provisions were not replenished following room servicing, and inconsistent hot water supply presented a significant challenge for showering.

The staff was helpful, comprehensive about the weather as it was raining so they gave us the room earlier. Everything was perfect, clean, room was great, the bathroom very clean and well designed. The dinner at the Grill was very good with products in season.

It's a historic building downtown with two good restaurants, and each room has a different layout. When you walk in, there's a weird smell. Our room had a sauna and a bathtub, but the description didn't mention stairs everywhere, which was a big safety problem. The room was super small and dusty. We didn't have hot water for two days, and housekeeping never refilled the coffee or tea or cleaned the room. The safe didn't work, and the bed was really uncomfortable. We had to call reception a bunch of times to resolve the hot water issue. The management offered free breakfast on the day we left, but breakfast was already over. They apologized and waived the city tax.

Nice hotel and perfectly located, we would have liked to eaten in the restaurants but sadly they were full. The car parking was also full so had to park in a nearby car park, if you visit booked the restaurant before hand and perhaps the parking too.

Very nice room, close to the city center. Breakfast was more than ok! Friendly staff!!

Regular place for me to stay if working in the region. Rooms nice. It’s a bit quirky getting around the hotel as in stairs/ corridors .
