Nice, clean room, got lucky and got a room with a view of the fjord, which was very lovely. Felt very welcome when checking in and loved the cool music themed decor! Had a lovely breakfast, with really good scrambled eggs and a lot of varied things to choose from. My only criticism is that some of the allergy labels were hard to read, but the staff were quick to check on ingredients for me, without making me feel like a burden, which I highly appreciate. Lovely fjord view from the tables. Will definitely come back in the future!

Scandic Rock City was a good choice for us visiting Namsos. The rooms are big and comfortable, and we got an amazing view to the fjord. (I recommend asking for a fjord view if you do not mind some noise from the terrace down under.) However, we were rather unlucky with the staff - for some reason almost all we met during our stay seemed to have their first day at the job - did not know where to find ice cubes, a post box, etc. The eggs at breakfast were almost raw. Rather weird. We assume it was simply bad luck, because the hotel overall seems professional!

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben dieses Hotel als Zwischenübernachtung genutzt. Der Check-In war super freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und großzügig eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, für jeden etwas dabei und immer alles aufgefüllt. Das Hotel liegt fußläufig zum Ort und direkt am Hafen. Wir wären auch gern noch eine Nacht länger geblieben!

Our only issue here was not being able to check in before 3pm as it was a baking hot day and we were desperate to have a cool shower followed by a cold drink. As it was, a cold drink in the bar had to suffice until check in time. The room was exactly as shown on the internet and we had a great view to boot. There was an ice machine by the lift which was very welcome. Breakfast was very good and not at all crowded thanks to the outdoor dining area in addition to the indoor area. We had a great overnight stay. Highly recommended.

Nice hotell close (Walking ditance) to the Rock City museum, Cinema,city center, shops, restaurants, Klompen and the sea. Good breakfast, nice reception, clean rooms, 24h shop in the reception. The price as a member of scandic is also very good.

Nice Hotel with good location and free parking close to town resturaunts with a great watervwiev and mountains souroundings. Breakfast was outstandind as always on Scandic Hotels. The standard room have a great bed andgood size with small office place

Nice hotel, beautiful location. The only person I met there that I didn’t vibe with was a young girl in the restaurant and the rest of the staff was very helpful, kind and service minded. This might not be the best city to visit for a group of party goers, but if you’re passing through and/or If you’re there because you wanna see some great nature do stay at this hotel.
