I didn't want to write a review but I feel it necessary. Stayed Aug 20-21, 2024. I was in room 136. First off this room is noisy. Second I was a victim of theft from my room. Room is Right next to exterior door as well as stair well. You constantly hear stairwell doors and exterior doors slam shut. You hear stomping and running on the stairwell. You hear luggage being dragged up and down stairwell. I will say room was clean and bed was comfy. Second I checked out in the morning. I had meant to grab my black flip flops (worn once and I had paid $75.00) but I grabbed my stuff took it to car and forgot. I know exactly where in the room they were. I looked at them and got sidetracked by a work call. I realized about 2pm I had left them. I checked out at 9 am. Called they checked they said they didn't have them but to call back next day at 9 am. Called back next day talked to Aricelki. She said she would ask maid service and call me back with results. No call back. Called back in afternoon, they said they didn't know what Aricelki found out but they were not in their lost and found. So either the maid who cleaned the room after I checked out lied OR they didn't clean my room and next guest found my flip flops. They were next to nightstand by bedbetween bed and bathroom wall. I can say I do not plan to stay at Fairfield inns and am questioning my stay at all Marriott hotels now. I am glad my company has a hotel review site as, we'll so I can share my experience with all 13,000 other employees. I could have ignored the poor insulation and room choice but the lying/theft or lack of cleaning by maid service I can't. Also the lack of return call by Aricelli is very unprofessional.
