One of our best stays while on the EBC three passes trek. Hot showers, clean comfortable rooms and great meals. Most of all friendly staff. Ang was very helpful and treated us like family. Highly recommended place to stay. We hope to return someday Jess and Garrick

The clean rooms and bedding, the view from the rooms and the dining room, the good food and coffee, and the hospitality of Ang and her husband make this a place I just have to visit again! Himalayan Lodge is perfectly located centrally, but at the same time just above the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The first time I stayed here was in 2022. That experience almost made me run to Namche Bazaar from Lukla in 2023 to secure yet another night at Himalayan Lodge. I am impressed by how much information Ang manages to keep track of while also being present to all of us who visit the place. Love the place!

Definitely one of best lodges during EBC trek.The owners are so sweet! They helped us to book another lodges in further villages where weren’t any bookings, provided helpful info about the trek, cooked delicious food and you’ve got even really hot water. We booked the room even with heating blanket which was pleasure after cold days. They provide also laundry service. If you’ll book through the booking, wifi and charging of devices are free of charge. I can just recommend!

Stayed a few nights on way to EBC and on way back in 2019 nad 2022. Friendly staff, good food. Central to main town area but still quiet. Looks out over Namche, lovely views. Clean, comfortable rooms. Warm heater at night. No hot water, a luke warm shower only difficulty I found. Will stay thhere again next time I am in Namche!
