Best motel we have ever stayed in. We only booked for one night and because it was within our budget, we weren’t expecting too much. However, we opened the door and such a wonderful surprise. It was spacious, clean and the bathroom layout was great. The restaurant was an added surprise. My husband has Coeliac Disease and he had no trouble getting a gluten free dinner and breakfast. Staff were excellent.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful aspect from our big sliding doors. Exceptionally clean room. And “Who gives a crap” toilet paper! Most impressed with the environmental aspects of our stay. Thank you 😊

We have stayed at Cubana 3 times and every time has been fantastic. Lyn and the team are always welcoming. We bring our fur baby and stay in a pet friendly room. The grounds of the property are immaculate and the rooms are always clean. We ate at the restaurant this time and the food was very good. We can’t wait for our next stay at this wonderful accommodation.

Lyn communicated well with us before our arrival. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Throw in a continental breakfast in a lovely dining room and we couldn’t have asked for more.

Lynne and her team where perfect hosts for our Vintage Chevrolet Rally for the VCAQ and the VVCAA, we had the whole resort booked and had no complaints, everyone was very happy with the room rates and the breakfast every day was great, the Cantina worked perfectly the two nights that we had it booked for functions and everyone was happy with their meals and the bar service. They even went to the trouble of decorating the function room for us. The week went so well that we are planning to go back and do it all again as the Nambucca area has so many interesting things to see and do and the Cubana couldn't have been any more helpful and made our job organising everything else so much easier. Some of our members have already made return visits as it is a perfect stopover halfway from Sydney to Brisbane and the area is ideal for vintage and classic car clubs as it is off the main highway with miles of the old highway up and down the coast with very little traffic and plenty of interesting attractions.

My wife and I booked the Cubana Resort having remembered the previous version from many years ago. The refurb is fabulous. Bright colours, renovated rooms and lovely tropical feel. We only stayed one night but slept well in the comfy bed after relaxing in the afternoon on the sofa. Everything you need is provided. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open but the RSL dinner was great.

We were returning from Noosa to Sydney and it was time to stop. Great choice, spotlessly clean which is a number one priority and quiet. Tired so just went to their restaurant and had a light dinner which was very nice indeed. Because we just dropped in breakfast was included which we hadn’t planned on - that was an unexpected bonus. Plenty of choice of cereals, toast, ham, cheese, fresh tomatoes etc. freshly baked blueberry muffins, croissants and fresh fruit. Honestly you could not fault. We will certainly return.
