Truly, the Machaan is a hidden gem for every visitor who loves nature. The environment is very relaxing and peaceful. It is a wonderful getaway from work. The staff really took care of us from the delicious food that is accommodated based on preference and the transportation for the whole trip and company on safaris, hiking trips, and bird watching walks. I really want to thank and commend the AMAZING Gowtham for his company and his knowledge in nature. He has truly made our experience one of a kind. I also want to thank Panish, Shreyes, all the restaurant staff, the cleaning staff, and everyone I missed for their lovely welcome.

They don’t have any activity in the resort and it’s overpriced. The swimming pool was so small where only kids can play, will not suggest this place for outing! Food options were lesser , basic items were missing such as Idli and Vada and live dosa.

It was good experiences and nature wall in the evening and night was very good. Due to rural area voltage level and power but was very high, it is recommended to have voltage stabilize for voltage stabilizes. whish help in the fluctuating the voltage in the system.

Beautiful resort in a coffee estate. Well appointed rooms with Wi-Fi Air conditioning and tea/ coffee kettle. Lovely sit out overlooking the green expanse of the forest. Excellent Birding on the property and the night walks were most interesting to view some reptiles, and nocturnal animals. Food was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. Service could be improved a little but overall a beautiful property with great facilities. Would definitely recommend it.

We have experienced difficulties with check-out as a result of a communication breakdown amongst the staff. Gowtham, another employee was really helpful on guiding us about place and safari tour. Food was really awesome at the restaurant.

This is a nice getaway about 5-6 hours from Bengaluru. The resort/lodge is on a coffee plantation that abuts the Nagarahole tiger reserve, so it's well placed if you'd like to go on a safari. The staff was great, the place was clean, and the food quite nice. Maybe try the samosas with your tea in the evening, they're among the best we've had. The cell reception isn't the greatest, and the WiFi was unavailable during our trip, so that might be something to keep in mind if one's planning a working holiday.

We found this resort because it was close to the national park we were visiting. Little did we know that the hotel and the staff at Machaan would give us such an amazing experience. From knowledgeable naturalists to amazing food at the restaurant, this place had it all. They also made the safari experience such a breeze (something that can be hard to organise from abroad). Thanks to the resort and, in particular, the team for making it such a memorable stay.

Wir haben 3 wunderschöne Tage in der lodge verbracht mitten in einer Kaffee- und Pfeffer- Plantage, ganz in der Nähe des Nagarahole Tiger Reservats - wir waren während der Kaffeeblüte dort - einzigartig!!!! Unsere Zimmer waren rund und riesig, hatten ein großes Badezimmer und eine tolle Terrasse. Das Essen im Restaurant ist hervorragend, Frühstück, lunch und dinner - perfekt gewürzt und mit Liebe gekocht und serviert. Der naturalist Gowtham hat uns perfekt betreut, uns die tierischen Bewohner:innen des Tages und der Nacht gezeigt - es war genial! Ich hab mir auch eine Behandlung Spa gegönnt - noch kaum eine bessere Massage bekommen!!! Ganz herzlichen Dank an alle - wir kommen wieder!!!!
