If Ctrip dares to put it on the shelves, I dare to place an order. It turned out that the two days here were the pinnacle of our trip to Hokkaido, eclipsing the subsequent internet celebrity trip in Sapporo Toyako Hakodate.
Since there aren’t many Chinese comments, if anyone is interested and sees it, I’ll write down some notes here:
Transportation: The location of the campground is relatively remote. Our plan is to take a taxi from Obihiro Airport. It is best to show the driver the zip code of the campground and the navigation will be smooth. You can ask the front desk to help you call a taxi when you leave. Of course, if you rent a car and drive there yourself, everything will be fine.
Food: Ctrip has a set meal that includes breakfast/two meals. In case there is no other meal to eat, we chose breakfast and dinner. Eating breakfast in the restaurant is very unique! We had BBQ for dinner both days. The food was quite good, but it was too cold to grill outside for an hour in the middle of winter. It is recommended that if you drive by yourself, you can prepare more food to take with you. There is a kitchen where you can cook. Of course, there are also frozen pizzas available at the front desk (the home-made ice cream is quite good)
Generally speaking, it would be more convenient if we drove by ourselves (but we had no problem dragging our luggage on the snow for ten minutes). If it’s winter, try to go there during the day to feel more at ease (sunset is at 4 o’clock). You can Google the hotel’s official website to find more information (there are other meal package plans).
For the rest, just enjoy the peace and beauty here! We chose the latest itou hut, which has many fishing-related decorations and books, and can also be used to make fishing bait (although it cannot be used). Come here just like the theme of the cabin and be a wilderness philosopher for two days
