The hotel is old and very badly maintained. The windows open onto a wall, which means you never have daylight. The service is poor and not at standard for international guests. Breakfast caters for Iraqi taste, with a big variety of local dishes.

An adequate clean comfortable room that was good value. Tue bathroom is a little dated but clean. The breakfast buffet was good and would suit all. It's a 4 kilometre walk to the shrine or IQD5 taxi ride. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

Nice, quiet and clean hotel, the stay is good, but I did not like the treatment of some of the staff, they were not very cheerful as is the case in most of the upscale hotels in the world. Overall it is a very good hotel in terms of cleanliness, quietness and location. It does not have some services such as a swimming pool and others. Therefore I did not give it full marks because of the lack of upscale treatment and also because of the lack of some services.

Stayed one night. Good location and reasonably quiet. Spacious, clean room. Amenities included an electric kettle. On the negative side, only one available power jack for two people and no extra pillows. Reasonably comfortable bed. A/C worked well. Bathroom with everything in working order. No shelf space. Only 1/4 roll of toilet paper (had to ask for more). Wifi worked well. Breakfast with ok selection.
