We really enjoyed our stay at Dove Nest Lodge. We stayed here as part of our safari and to be honest the reviews had me a little nervous but we found it to be a wonderful hotel. From arrivals to checkout the staff was kind and helpful. Dinner was very good and included a lot of African inspired dishes. The room was nice, the bathroom had a bit of a wet smell but we closed the door and had no difficulties with it. The location is a bit off the beaten track but is a good location if you are headed out to another park. We would definitely stay here again if we were doing a safari in the area

1. Absolutely no value for money. High charges for basic services. The joint beds are actually pathetic, why wont you have just one big bed? And beddings are a bit old. 2. No side bed lamps or bedside socket switches. 3. Rooms are poorly maintained. Renovations are requires. 4. Lights are actually basic, no luxury there. Again add hot shower switches. 5.No tables or chairs on your rooms. 6. You offer the smallest bottled waters of all. 7. Breakfast is not a buffet, why?

If you’re looking to treat family, a high-end hotel will provide that extra I will recommend dove nest lodge naivasha we experienced a good service accommodation was on top I really love the place and I will recommend all of my friends to go there food was on top

Super Lodge au calme!
L'hôtel est idéalement situé, dans un endroit calme entouré d'arbres et de fleurs, tout en étant proche du centre-ville et des lieux à visiter. L'accueil est chaleureux, les services sont excellents, et l'établissement est bien entretenu et propre. Même si nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine pendant quelques jours en raison d'une panne, l'hôtel a fait un geste commercial en nous offrant un petit-déjeuner. La piscine a été rapidement remise en service, parfaitement entretenue et agréable. Une très bonne expérience dans l'ensemble !
Petit point d'amélioration : il serait utile que les plateformes de réservation comme Hôtel.com précisent clairement la différence entre un petit-déjeuner offert et un petit-déjeuner inclus dans la réservation, afin d'éviter toute confusion.

Nice lodge with a few minor issues
When we arrived they didn't have any knowledge of our booking, even though we'd already paid. Eventually they found our booking but the room we booked wasn't available for the first night so we were downgraded for the first night. We pushed and they offered us free dinner to compensate.
The standard room is quite small and doesn't have a mosquito net. The executive room is much bigger and has a mosquito net.
The beds are clean but some parts of the room could be cleaned, i.e. cobwebs in the corners.
Breakfast was supposed to start at 7am but we arrived at 7.30 and they still hadn't finished setting up. There was an even longer wait for dinner.
The staff were very friendly and the rest of the resort was really nice. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. There was also a little park for children.

The hotel is basic don’t expect much other than a place to sleep and have breakfast. They do need to improve on cleanliness, the bathroom mat was grossly dirty and the bedsheets were not clean and were torn, quite a disappointment. I do have to give them credit on food, they really tried both for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The swimming pool needs to be maintained well, it was actually green in colour! The staff really was excellent in making our stay memorable. My highlight was the bonfire. Kudos
