The hotel is right on the seaside, but it is far from the city. It takes half an hour to drive to the city center. It is very inconvenient for non-self-driving travelers. And it is located next to the highway. My room faces the highway and is noisy. Maybe a sea view room would be better.

Stayed here with 3 friends for one night on a golf trip. Price was good and staff were very friendly. Ensuite rooms were spacious and had toiletries, towels, tv, etc. though some new grouting would help around bathroom. Room was very warm but opened window which helped. Did not eat here so cannot comment. Hotel has a lovely bar area with pool table but bar closed at 9pm. 4 golfing buddies would have spent good money here for an hour or 2 after our meal in the centre, about 10 minutes walk to very good restaurants. Car parking in front of hotel. For light sleepers beware of the seagulls at all hours of the morning from 2.30am, what a noise! All in, would not discount staying here again

We only stayed for one night and the hotel was ideal for the stay we had planned. The hotel is a bit old fashioned in a way with breakfast stopping at 08:45 and the bar closing at 9pm. The room itself was comfy but we only had one bed side table which was a bit awkward for me meaning there was no where to put my glasses. There was also a strangely situated electrical box above the head board which caught your head when sitting up.

Didnt feel like a hotel experience. Much more like a guest house. I stayed here about 4 years ago, when it was a busy little hotel with a full reception, bar, restaurant etc. Felt very like the place was now struggling, 1 poor guy running from bar to reception handling everything - (he did a good job to be fair!). The basics were ok, clean-ish room, though spilt cream from previous occupant dried on fridge bottom not great! Carpets and bed were clean enough for me but my wife thought the bed covers weren't spotless, not helped by a moth flying out from under the pillow! (It was a v. warm week in Nairn so I was more forgiving!) Bizarre ensuite with wet room shower and subsequent rotting skirting and door, toilet raised so at least you didnt get your feet and trousers soaked. Room key opened the front door -again very like a bnb, guesthouse experience, with no manned reception. Breakfast offering from a pre-chosen menu the night before didnt inspire us at all so we ate at the lovely Cafe Nairn at the end of the high street-top tip! Cheap but not too cheerful for a last minute stopover, so probably would look elsewhere if in the district again.

Stayed here recently on business & would recommend for a short stay. Ideal location for the town & beach, in a great neighbourhood. The hotel is clean & well presented, & dinner was piping hot & well cooked. Went for the continental breakfast option, which was a bit under whelming. Had to wait until the receptionist arrived on the premises before I could check out, which is a pain when you're travelling on business. Neither of the above put me off returning to the West End again either for business or leisure, and in today's hospitality market, it represents good value for money.

This property has a lift. Room and bathroom clean. Large wardrobe and small fridge. Bed was comfortable. Short walk to beach.
