Our experience at hotel himalaya was mixed. While the location is great and it offers convenient parking, the staff were not as welcoming or polite as expected, which left a less-than-ideal impression. The rooms were decent and provided the basics for a comfortable stay. We didn’t try the food at the hotel since there are plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, it’s an average stay, but the service could be improved.

One of the very fine properties in Nainital, excellent location,food and staff. All the staff were very helpful and courteous and well mannered trying to help every way they could. Mr.Sandeep joshi management is excellent and well carried out by property manager Mr. Amit. He is very well behaved and very courteous.

Overall it was a pleasant stay and the staff was quite helpful. I didn't have any issue while checking in and checking out. Wifi connection was good, so there was no problem at all. The room with mini Theater was really good and common area had interesting games . Things to improve: Wifi can be unlimited instead of 2 GB per day. Bonfire was allowed only when there was 60% occupancy, it should be allowed everyday.

Excellent place. Friendly staff and wonderful location. We have tried different food and every time we were surprised with sumptuous food. Apart from located on the mall road, hotel people are helpful and friendly. I have stayed here in the past and will do so in the future as well.

Chevron is a wonderful property that takes you back in time. Built in 1925 it is a charming place. Food and hospitality was great. Lovely people. Clean and neat place. Spacious rooms, lovely garden. It is difficult to find a place in nainital that has a flat surface. Chevron must be one of the very few places that have a beautiful garden and view. The only downside is the steep slope to get to the place. The road is narrow and very few taxis will be open to drive to the top. For younger and fit people, it should not be a problem. Other that this issue - nothing to complaint about. Would highly recommend the place.
