Hotel was good,rooms were neat and clean, had to climb stairs as there were no lift which is common in mountains. Big and spacious rooms but what ruined our trip was the manager who charged ₹1000 for two rooms for early check in and ₹2000 for extra bedding which was way too much compared to other hotels in Nainital.
While the hotel isn’t even on the main road, you have to walk for 10 minutes from Mall Road to reach at the hotel.

1. Mismatch in Room Type: The rooms provided (Room No. 24 and 21) were significantly different from those I had booked. Upon raising this issue, the hotel staff acknowledged that the rooms I reserved do not exist on the property. The condition of the rooms resembled that of a budget accommodation, such as a one-star hotel.
2. Outdated Fixtures: The room and bathroom doors were equipped with old, rusty latches and an outdated key-lock system, which felt reminiscent of a roadside eatery (dhaba) rather than a premium hotel.
3. Room Condition: The rooms had a persistent unpleasant odor and visible, extensive seepage issues.
4. Bed Quality: The double bed was formed by joining two single beds that appeared to be 20-25 years old. There was a noticeable gap of approximately 4 inches between the mattress and the bed frame, which affected comfort.
5. Inadequate Ventilation: Instead of proper ventilation fans, makeshift cardboard coverings were used, which is both unprofessional and unsanitary.
6. Additional Charges:
• I was charged ₹180 for water bottles for the following day.
• Despite having a continental plan, I was charged ₹320 for baby milk.
• An additional ₹2,200 was charged for evening snacks (though expected, I mention it given the overall pricing).
• I was charged ₹200 for luggage loading services.

The Family Cottage that I booked had an incredible lake view, but the hotel service was not very satisfactory. The wifi wasn't working for majority of our stay and even the geyser stopped working in the morning. Overall, I would rate it 3 out of 5.

It is a Decent hotel
Pros : Near to Lake, Walking distance, Lakeview , Good Rooms
Cons : Not suitable for senior citizens as we have to climb 45 stairs to get above + 15 stairs for hotel Premises
price is higher compared to similar hotels nearby
price of menu of restuarent is higher than restaurents nearby

awesome view,whole Lake is visible as hotel is nearly half km high.Nice way to hotle,can walk easily but may get difficult for elderly.Rest nice clean rooms,all amenities available.Food is nice.Service,salff were nice .Car parking available.🙂

MOST UNSAFE HOTEL EVER.
THE HOTEL STAFF WAS PEEPING THROUGH THE BATHROOM WHILE I WAS USING IT.
IPC SECTION 354
When I raised this issue/crime to the HOTEL MANGER, he claimed it to be a 'SHADOW' or 'ILLUSION' and ARGUED AGAINST US.
The amount of this hotel has given is beyond any explanation. Though two of the receptionists were helpful in presenting the CCTV footage with patience after which the culprit (hotel staff) was found guilty.
I hope they fire the Culprit who was found guilty afterwards.
SafetyTHIS HOTEL IS VERY UNSAFE FOR WOMEN. One of the hotel STAFF was PEEPING through my BATHROOM VENT while I was using the bathroom. IT WAS VERY ABSOLUTELY TRAUMATISING.The hotel MANAGER(WORST GM THE HOTEL CAN HIRE) was very DISRESPECTFUL and helping the staff trying to get over it. The lady in the front desk was quite helpful. PLEASE AVOID GOING TO THIS HORRIFIC PLACE. I ADVICE ANYONE READING THIS. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE WITH FEMALE FRIENDS AND FAMILY. There is a HIGH POSSIBILITY of HIDDEN CAMERAS inside the ROOMS and BATHROOMS.
