Property Description
Roohaniyat is an "Artist space" more than just a house or a holiday home on a hill station. The space is a over 100 years old, village house that has been renovated by an Artist himself, with Art of all sorts filled in every corner of the house it brings back the calm that everyone desires to experience in their day to day lives. The place is a perfect getaway for writers, musicians, painters, story tellers and artists of all sorts and Genres. It is a great get away for people from cities. The space The house is situated in a small village called Sirori in Uttarakhand, which is 13 kms, before the famous Summer Capital of the British, Nainital. How to get here: The house is on the way from kaladhingi road to Nainital , its a 45 minute hill drive and the closest landmark to the house is Mangoli a small district in Uttarakhand from where anyone can ask the locals for directions to village Sirori and they'll hit the place in 5-10 minutes from Mangoli, Uttarakhand . The house consists of the following: 1. Music Room- It is a fully equipped jam room for musicians who are planning on getting away from the noise of the town and wanting to create . 2. Listening room- The listening room is a small cosy room comprising of a small collection of LP's that belong to my late grandfather and an old LP player that also belongs to him. It is the ideal space for people who wish to sit down and listen to music without any distraction and its open for guests to get their own Records/LP's and play them if they haven't heard the scratch of a Vinyl in a long time. 3. The house also consists of a small reading/writing section that will be of great interest to both voracious readers and people who like to write every once in a while. 4. There are 2 more rooms that are for the guests to stay in and have a connected washroom plus a separate entrance. 5. The house also consists of a common living room and kitchen that the guests may use as per their convenience. 6.
