Acorn Hideaway Resort & Spa

The resort was very nice neat and tidy it spans into a quiet large area a beautiful property with lots of trees beautiful landscapes nice and large rooms. There is a good variety of food in all three meals for breakfast lunch and dinner and accompanied with evening high tea. Big pool, decent indoor playing zone. I would like to come back to this property again for my next visit to Jim Corbett.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PROPERTY AT ANY COST. You find it attractive in photos & videos, but that doesn't look the same physically. ALL YOU WILL FIND IS Regret, Waste Of Money, Time & Mood. Disgusting experience. We never had such a worst experience in entire life... Issue was not only one, you name it & you have it.. Location - First, no sign board of property anywhere. Very far from main road. The inside patch of road to the property is very rough & difficult to reach especially if you have big vehicle like traveller. Not a single light on the road. EVEN THE CROWD COMING TO THAT PROPERTY WERE ALSO NOT GOOD. Service - UTTERLY UNPROFESSIONAL & PATHETIC. For even small thing like a glass you have to wait till half an hour. STAFF WAS TOO RUDE & SEEMED LIKE THEY DIDN'T EVEN CARE. - Our room & washroom were stinking like hell & we asked for room service. They sent a staff with freshner & said we can't do anything about it. That Staff Entered Into Our Room With Shoes, even after telling he didn't remove the shoes & told we do like this way only. - Whenever we ask for something, IT TOOK LOT OF TIME TO COME. - We have been to safaris & such jungle resorts many times. There is a rule of jungle that doesn't allow for a loud music. THEY KEPT ON LOUD MUSIC EVERYDAY. You won't find that peace at all for which you go to the jungle. - There was one group of people, who were very loud & up till 3am. We complained about it & they didn't take any actions. - LAST & MOST IMPORTANT- One of staffs rang a door bell to our room, after denying also HE ENTERED OUR ROOM WITHOUT PERMISSION. I never came across such an incident in my life, even in small hotels. THAT WAS SHOCKING FOR US. - WE COMPLAINED REGARDING THE SAME INCIDENT. But no action taken. THE GENERAL MANAGER OF HOTEL WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & NOT AT ALL COURTEOUS. Main thing was You Wouldn't See Any REGRET on their faces. Rooms- Average..But poorly maintained. You find dust, broken handles & unhygienic toilets. The Whole Room & Washroom Was Stinking. Curtains were very old & not even opening entirely, you can open only little bit. Toiletries - dental kit (tooth brush& paste), soap, shampoo, shower gel, lotion. No hair dryer & conditioner. They didn't provide room slippers until you ask for it. Both shower gel & shampoo were terrible. After using shampoo, eyes were burning like hell till 4-5 hrs. There was no doormat outside the bathroom. Food- Below average. UNHYGIENIC. You find NO TASTE in any items. REPETITIVE menu everyday. WATER WAS IMPURE. Very slow service. We went for holi vacation. After celebration of holi, staff didn't even clean up themselves & in that dirty attires only they cooked & served. The handles, spoons, even rotis were tinted with holi colors. NO EFFORTS WERE PUT EVEN AFTER ASKING FOR THE SAME. Note- VERY POOR SERVICE... DON'T GO.

Nice place to relax delicious food and comfortable stay near forest staff is cooperative rooms are neat and clean best part is the garden and greenery

The staff was unprofessional, and GM Lokendra’s rude behavior, even towards female guests, was unacceptable. Basic facilities were lacking, including a washroom door latch. The food quality was disappointing, making the overall stay far from satisfactory. Definitely not a place I’d recommend.

Har chiz ka extra charge nahi lagana chaiye . Room not maintain Area tree se zyada ghira hua hai thoda khula khula area hona bhi accha hai jisse view acche ay .. Jo bhi clearty ho pehle kare bad me nahi jungle safari ke liye booking rate thoda zyada laga

Good service. Food was good would like to go again for outing. Recommend to other friends as well. Overall happy with performance. Ambience was also best. Happy with everyone. Would like to travel again at same place. Soo soo happy with this.
