Which included a brand new kitchen, new floors throughout, new showers, and new deck. Our philosophy is that if there's something we would need when staying there, our guests will need it too. You will find a kitchen completely stocked for cooking, baking, and grilling (with appliances, such as a split double oven convection range, a microwave, a crockpot, griddle, hand mixer, popcorn maker, rice maker, Keurig, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, etc.). Plus, access a variety of games, a sewing kit, a first aid kit, iron and ironing board, luggage racks, a chair in each bedroom, and many other amenities. After a long day enjoying all that the Outer Banks offers, you can sit back relax and watch shows on the 75" Smart TV. The home offers WiFi and the television is equipped with an Amazon Fire TV Stick, there is no cable television. The house sits on the main canal off the Albemarle Sound with a dock for fishing or boat tie-up. If you are a fishing fan (like us!), check out the fish table/cleaning station! Boat dock has electricity, water, and lighting. We provide fishing rods and a simple tackle box. The house also offers an enclosed outdoor shower, which in our opinion is the best part of any beach house. We also have an outdoor entertainment area underneath the house, excellent for Crab Feasts and other group activities. One of the main highlights is the view! This is a family beach house located in a quiet, wooded, residential, "west side" neighborhood adjacent to Nags Head Woods and the walking trails leading to the sound but is just .4 of a mile to a beach access with a lifeguard (in season) and a crosswalk with a light to cross the road.The backyard is fully fenced in with access from the back porch and even has a doggy door in the dining room for Fido to come and go as you allow. Please note * VRBO map location is approximate. We are on the west side of 158- not the east side as the map sometimes shows. (We cannot adjust the map. It is set up by VRBO.)The main level of the house has a living room, a dining room with seating for six, full kitchen, and a half bath. The master bedroom, also located on the main living level, features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a double shower head and jetted whirlpool tub. The spacious covered back porch - accessed from the sliding glass doors off of the kitchen and dining room - features a large, comfortable outdoor seating group, a dining table with seating for six, and a gas grill. The upper level of the home has the remaining two bright, spacious bedrooms, both with queen beds, high-definition streaming televisions, and a shared full bathroom. The ground level has outside access leading directly to the outside shower and front yard, a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, and a desk that is perfectly tucked away in a quiet corner for remote Zoom calls or work, should the need arise.Guest access - You can access the entire house except for the garage and the locked ground floor rooms, and the owner's closets. The fireplace is NOT functional or for guest use.The garage is not accessible to guests.Other things to noteThe minimum age to rent is 25. ABSOLUTELY no parties or overnight outside guests will be allowed. You will be asked to leave immediately and will not receive a refund of any kind.Adult dogs ONLY - 2 maximum - WITH PET FEE. Dogs must be house-trained, friendly (in case we need to access the house), up to date on flea meds and shots, and well-socialized. Dogs are not to be left alone unattended in the house uncrated for extended periods of time. You must let us know in advance if you plan to bring your dog. Be sure to pick up after your dog in all areas and keep your dog off the furniture. If you have a "shedding" type breed, clean-up also means hair within reason. Please note that this is a vacation rentals and not a hotel. (We mean that in the absolute nicest way!) You will need to roll trash carts out for trash pickup, do your dishes, etc., and basically leave the house reasonably as you found it.If you use the grill, please clean it before departure for the next guests. Our cleaners do not clean grills. The amenity is provided with the understanding that you may have to clean it before use and that you understand we ask that you clean it before departure.
