Hotels near Daidōchō Railway Station, Nagoya

Excellent hotel, clean rooms even though a little small, perfect for dinner and breakfast. Very cheap for the category, but of a quality comparable to the most famous. Five minutes walk from Otagawa station.

There was a concert in Nagoya City and the Japan Special Ceramics Civic Hall, and I used it. It feels like a little old route-in, but the room is kept clean and I felt that it was a little narrow in a single room, but the air conditioner can also be switched (cooling → heating → air blowing). Although it is not possible, It was replaced with a new one. The lighting equipment is a round sealing light, but it felt a little dark. There is a large communal bath, but the bathtub is small, the washing area is ８, and the dressing room is about ８, which is not very large. I thought it would be nice to be able to check the standard of congestion status on the TV in the room. Breakfast is a buffet style, but I felt that the score of side dishes was less than that of other route inns. The restaurant is not very large, but you can also check the congestion status on TV. Access was within １０ minutes from both Higashibetsu-in and Kamimaetsu subway stations on foot, and from １５ minutes to ２０ minutes to the Japan Special Ceramics Civic Hall (Kanayama Station). There are Lawson and Lawson 100 in the neighborhood, but there seemed to be no restaurants. I checked in at １５, but if you are still cleaning other rooms or starting cleaning other rooms before checking out at １０, you may need to be careful. The response of the front desk was also firm and polite. Overall, I felt that it was neither good nor bad.

Excellent Hotel with a more spacious room that usual in Japan. The staff is friendly, the hotel room is clean and has all the amenities and facilities you need. he breakfast buffet is sumptuous offering a great view over Nagoya (it's on the 31st floor). Although the hotel is just outside Nagoya's main train station, which is just a bit too far to walk, it can be easily reached by train (1 station), all that being covered walking on both ends. Meaning that if it rains you won't get wet. The Nagoya train station area is bustling with shops (Takashimaya department store included), restaurants within walking distance or even in the underground walkways ,which are miles long. Obviously taking the train or subway from there is being in the center of the city's web. Couldn't be easier. As a family of 4 we enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely consider the Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower for a next stay in Nagoya!

New, close to nearby attractions like Nagoya tower , underground street and oasis21, have McDonald’s and convenient stores and pharmacy stores nearby, staff was helpful, the street was quiet , the room was clean and big enough for two large luggages to open, we enjoyed the stay

I got an upgrade and went to the room on the 9th floor. The small room on the right immediately after entering is the kitchen room. It was even equipped with a microwave. When you open the door next to it, there is even a washing machine. It is a specification for long-term stays. The bath and toilet are separate. Amenity is BVLGARI in a large bathroom and large bathtub. Nothing to say anymore. The room specifications are semi-suite class. Breakfast is a semi-buffet such as salad with American breakfast and Japanese set meal choice. I chose a Japanese set meal, but it would have been great if it had freshly baked soup rolls. No, it was a cold night with snow, but it was the best hotel stay.

I had a very pleasant stay at Silk Tree Hotel Nagoya. I was glad the hotel endeavors to make sure you have almost everything you need during your stay - facial cleanser, tonar, shampoo, tea and even snacks! You are encouraged to ”shop” for anything you need for free! Although I do not order breakfast, the hotel still offers a coffee corner in the morning in the lobby. I appreciated the hotel's effort to take good care of different tiny parts of my stay. Also, the hotel is located in a very convenient location - right next to a convenience store and just a few minutes away from the main street, metro and supermarkets. The hotel is also surrounded by great restaurants. Although the room is not the most spacious, it is enough for a couple and definitely worth the money.

Great for women too! (Review only for women) I went with my teen daughter just bcs we were curious about this idea. It was amazing! I hear that originally, the capsule hotels were made for drunk men who couldn’t catch the last train to go home and can’t afford the expensive taxis in japan. So I was worried about the place been full of drunk ppl but I search for a capsule hotel for women too. I love it! - The 2F is only for women and u can’t get in if you don’t have a special key so it’s pretty safe. - Everything was divided for male and female … even the eating area. - It’s also a No Smoking place. Perfect! - ALL instructions are in English (actually good translation) ;) - You can also borrow/ask for (free) extra chargers (although u have inside the capsule), iwatch charger, nail clippers, contact lense cleaner, hair iron, etc. (1F) - check in 2pm and check out 12mid day - Coin laundry (4F for women) - Locker and place to put your clothes or suitcase (5F) - Steam iron in the locker area (5F) LOCATION ***** Excelente location! Only 3 to 5min from Sakae Station. Many restaurants and things to do around the hotel. We could have stayed 3 nights there to see everything! AMENITIES ***** This place has sooo many things for the spa! You literally don’t need anything! Not even a pijama! BATH (4F for women)***** I think the male bath is different. The bath is 5 stars! It’s a great public bath for Japanese or foreigners. I particularly don’t like showering in front of people and like the privacy of my own shower. Usually Japanese public bath don’t offer this option but this hotel had 2 showers where you can clean yourself before going to the “onsen” (with only one type of shampoo, conditioner, body soap and face soap). The onsen or public bath is great! They actually have one with hot and the other one with cold water. Here you will find more than 5 brands of product to wash yourself (not like the private shower rooms). They also have a dry sauna and an AMAZING stone sauna! The sink area where you dry your hair, brush your teeth, etc is awesome! Really, no need to bring anything from home! CLEANING **** The hotel looks pretty clean. There is always a lady in the bath area making sure everything was nice and clean. BREAKFAST (11F) It says that the breakfast is included but it’s only rice with pickles, egg and soup. Do not expect the western breakfast. BUT I think this is even better! There is a big area (divided for male and female) where you can bring your own food (from a convenient store or the 1000 restaurants close by) and eat there. There is also a big area where men and women can eat. The rice and soup and all that is from 6am to 12 midnight. You can also drink whatever you want (soft drink and coffee)! THINGS I WOULD LIKE THEM TO ADD OR CHANGE - I would love if one elevator is only for women and the other only for men. - The capsule has ear plugs but the little bag where it comes in, makes so much noise. We traveled to Nagoya Sakae for five days, staying at Travelodge as a family of three—me, my wife, and our toddler. We stayed on their Superior Queen Room, which is amply spaced for a Japanese hotel. Even with its small footprint, it was surprising that it has its own fridge, movable table for eating or work, and an ensuite toilet and bath. I also love that it has a window overlooking Mirai Tower. It has a gym, laundromat, and a co-working space that's also used in the morning for buffet breakfast (optional). I love that all guests are given access to free soda and juice dispenser. Location is also very good, about five-minute by foot to Nagoya Tower, and surrounded all around by convenience stores, restaurants, and bars—really vibrant during the weekends. And if you're into walking, most of Nagoya's tourist spots is walkable from the hotel, including Nagoya Castle and the Science Museum.

Location is a about 5-7 minutes walk from Nagoya station with nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Staff is so inconsistent - one second they’re polite and the next they’re rude and inconsiderate. I was charged 2000 upon checkout for “extra fee” but wasn’t even told what it was for. Was in a rush to catch my flight so whatever I just paid - but just be careful when staying at low budget inns like this. Laundromat in the hotel only accepts 100yen coins but they don’t even have a coin changing machine so you have to go out and buy something to get enough coins. Wont stay here again.
