Hotel Belleview Nagasaki Dejima

Although the interior and exterior of the hotel are a bit dated, the facilities and sanitation are very good. There are waiters at the front desk to assist with self-check-in procedures. The location of the hotel is also very good. The tram stop is right in front of the hotel. It is very convenient to take the tram to the scenic spots along the way.

The hotel location is great for walking. I was thinking about going to the nearby Nagasaki Station or the downtown area, but I decided on this place because it was close to the port since I was planning to ride Gunkanjima. There was a large shopping center with a mart nearby, so it was convenient to use restaurants or go shopping for food. If the weather was bad, I thought it would be nice to spend time at the shopping center. The building right next to the hotel was the famous Nagasaki Castella original shop 'Munmeido'. The port where I would ride Gunkanjima, Chinatown, and other tourist attractions were within walking distance, so it was perfect as a base. The No. 5 bus to Inasayayama Observatory was also right nearby, so there was really no problem with transportation. The hotel is old, but it was renovated, so the rooms were clean. There was a lock in the lobby where you could keep your suitcase, so it was convenient to leave your luggage after check-out. I stayed in a twin room with two double beds, and I was surprised at how big the room was. It was a corner room, so the view was good. You can see the mountain with the Inasayama Observatory in the distance, and the intersection below, so it was good for enjoying the view of the small town's commute. I didn't request breakfast, so I don't know much about it.
