Elite Hotel Marina Tower, Spa & Resort

I did feel that the breakfast and room decor could have been of a slightly higher standard. While the stay was comfortable, a bit more attention to detail in these areas would have made the experience even better.

Stayed just after midsummer . The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed. Couldn't fault the breakfast , with so many choices , and the chance to make your own waffles if you had the time. A perfect location if you want to get around Stockholm by commuter ferry. The no.80 stop is so close , and takes you over to Djurgarden ( Vasa and Abba museums, Spirit museum and the Viking Museum etc) only a few minutes away, with an an easy change of ferry at Djurgarden ( no.82) to Gamla Stan.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on a working trip. Pleasant location of the water, though somewhat off city center. Pleasant and clean common areas. The room was large, clean and well-equipped. Comfortable bed, though a bit too soft for my taste. Service was generally good. Breakfast had a nice selection of dishes. Three points for potential improvement: 1. Being able to hang the shower head rather than hold it would have been good. The angle one was able to hang it was incompatible with being able to shower. 2. Staff at the reception should be a bit more careful regarding transportation advice. The day before I left, I asked one of the reception staff whether I should book a taxi beforehand. She assured me that they can have one within 5-10 minutes if I inform them the same morning. Turned out she was wrong. There were no taxis available at the company the hotel works with. Luckily, I had some time to spare, and another company was able to send a cab after 20 minutes, but this could have gone much worse. 3. I made the mistake of ordering a double espresso without checking the price on the evening I arrived. Turns out the hotel charges 80 (eighty) SEK for this drink. While I fully understand that hotels need a good profit margin on drinks, this is outrageous. In fact, 5-star hotels I stayed at charged me less. To top all this, the mobile terminal had the possibility of tipping over this sum, in case I wished to. I didn’t.

Had a brilliant 2 day stay here while visiting Stockholm. Perfect location on the water, regular ferries take you to the centre. Clean but most of a welcoming. The reception and bar staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful with loads of choices. Highly recommend
