This beautiful hotel had comfort written all over it the moment we drove into the parking lot. The numerous facilities will keep you occupied, as will the many places to visit around the hotel. Our room had everything we needed, right down to the pleasant view from our balcony. The bathroom was, as requested, perfect for my 86 year old mother. Though the restaurant is right next door to the hotel, it isn't attatched. But the service and quality of everything served is very high-level, and worth the little walk. The hotel owners and their staff nearly bend over backwards to make their guests as comfortable as possible. This is, by far, the best hotel I've ever been in. And I will certainly come back within a year or two, and for a longer period. That's for sure. And I'll make sure my German is better by that time. :)

What an amazing place, the area is beautiful the hotel is to the highest standards. My colleague and I discussed that this is likely the best hotel (at least in the top 5) we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. We travel for business. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious, the service superb. It’s not often I say it but the stay was absolutely faultless. Take a bow Schloss Hotel Holzrichter you deserve a round of applause.

Very unpolite and rude service during check-out
Overall it is a nice place - however during check-out we encountered an issue with payment which was handled very unprofessional by the management. The behavior was uncalled for and I will in no way ever visit this place again and nor will any of our staff.
