It’s a place for relax! Wonderful atmosphere, the staff is ready to realize all your reasonable requests. The big territory, and just one problem - there is no chance to explore all facilities in one day. In future will stay two nights.

Stay here bcoz of the famous cave onsen overlooking the sea, and wow it's truly one of a kind onsen experience. Altho it's quite far out, using Kansai Wide Pass makes it possible for foreign tourists, also the complimentary shuttle boat. Dinner and bfast buffet is amazing, easily one of the best in any hotels in Japan? With so much variety, alcohol included, and too bad I dont drink. Highly recommended for onsen lovers.

The free-flowing sashimi & alcohol buffet is the best I ever had in Japan with affordable price. The staff is very patient with foreign tourist explaining the transport route and the way around the hotel. Great view of sunrise & Pacific Ocean from my room.

This is such a treat after hiking for 4 days on Kumano Kodo. We have very nice views from our room and we truly enjoyed the cave onsens by the ocean in the hotel. We also enjoyed the dinner with fresh tuna and watch filleting tuna by a chef. The breakfast was just ok.

Everything is fine, except breakfast no good and old facilities and cannot park at hotel , need park another parking place and take shuttle bus to hotel.

You can choose to either take ferry or 25mins walk to hotel from Kii-katsuura station. They have two outdoor onsens that located in the cave that’s definitely worth trying out.
