The atmosphere at the Vesting Hotel is lovely, food excellent, staff very friendly, service easy, location beautiful and cozy. Naarden is a very quaint little old town and the Vesting Hotel is the perfect spot to take a breather on a mutli-day trip through these parts of Europe. There are also a lot of nice little galleries and design stores in town. We came by car, but quite a few of the other guests were stopping on bike tours.

Mooi hotel in een historisch pand. Geen receptie aanwezig. Je moet je melden bij het bedienend personeel n het restaurant. Bij onze aankomst hadden zij het erg druk met een overvol terras. Kamer was oké, koffie en- of thee voorziening en airco aanwezig. Klein -leeg- koelkastje is ook op de kamer. Onze kamer had een aparte indeling voor het “natte” gedeelte. Bij binnenkomst meteen de wasbakken in de hal/kamer en apart een kleine ruimte met douche en toilet. Als de douche gebruikt was, was de gehele vloer kleddernat. De topper op het bed lag los en verschoof. Het bed zelf was denken wij wat ouder je rolde naar één kan toe. Fietsen kunnen ‘‘s avonds in de bibliotheek worden gestald. Terras is een drama, er liep te weinig personeel. Daardoor erg lang moeten wachten op. Klanten liepen personeel achterna of zelf het restaurantgedeelte in om aan de bar hun bestelling op te halen. Al met al een hotel wat duur is voor het aanbod.

We stayed in this hotel as part of our bike tour in Holland. This hotel is the place to be in Naarden, the restaurant below is the life of this tiny village but the noise stops at night and did not bother us at all. We had a room on the top floor and it felt a little like Anne Franke's attic, small an compact. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the service very friendly. There is a supermarket about 20 min walk away and the Naarden city center is fun to visit.

Amazing small hotel near Amsterdam
This was our second stay in this amazing small hotel in Naarden. Great rooms, wonderful service, and a great location in the center of the Vesting (moated village). The breakfasts are fresh and great tasting. We'll be back and avoid the Amsterdam crowds.

we hadden een kleinschalig business event. Alles perfect geregeld! kamers top, zaaltje top, eten en gezelligheid. Super flexibele staff om zaken last minute te regelen
