The Serai Kabini

Everything was beyond expectations. One of the most accommodative resorts I have ever stayed. Its a massive property with all cottages overlooking the Kabini river. Food quality was very good. They also go out of their way to prepare dishes outside of their menu. Most importantly was their staff. Always smiling and cheerful.

Wonderful property and atmosphere. Great facilities. Kid-friendly place with good activities for all. Well-looked after by the staff: Shekar, Manoj, Prabhakar, Santhosh, Chef Ramakant and Krishna. Overall excellent stay. Would recommend this property highly.

Lovely experience staying at serai kabini.. the staff is courteous! We went on my birthday stay and the staff made sure that it was special. Special thanks to Mr. Avinash, Mr. sunil and Mr. Lakshmaiah for decorating our room.. all in all good! The food is average not to expect much but the property is worth

The serai kabini is a must visit during the monsoons too. The property has breathtaking views of the Kabini river , the mountains and the forest. The property and the rooms are really well maintained. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly. The veg food is outstanding , the Executive Chef Sri Ramakant takes really good care of the guests. He prepared Litti Chokha and Dhooni wali Daal , it was delicious!!! The Safari experience was also great. Thank you Serai for a lovely holiday

The Serai, Kabini is a wonderful property to stay with family. Great rooms, good food, awesome facilities. The biggest highlight of our stay was the warmth of the staff. They took care of the most minute needs and made our stay extremely comfortable and memorable!!!

We went for a family stay at The Serai and had booked 2 rooms, one villa and one verandah room. Both were river facing and similarly sized. We got two rooms close by so it was very convenient. Most of the rooms are in pairs and are a bit of distance from each other. It makes the stay feel very private and peaceful, one feels like you have a personal space with a garden. There is a hammock with every room which is a very cute addition. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The entire staff of The Serai is top notch, they were constantly taking care of our comfort and always with a smile. Right from checkin to arranging safaris to meals and right till checkout, everything was perfect. The entire team including Chamaraj, Sathish, Mahesh, Prabhath and the entire housekeeping staff including Shivappa, Manoj were very courteous and helpful. Saleem from the management team also called us a few times to take care of our requirements. Special mention to the Spa facilities, they were just amazing. We spent a very nice afternoon at the spa and went for a couple package called “Bliss” which was just perfect. Food at the restaurant is very homely and the breakfast spread is very nice. Safaris were arranged by the Serai team and it’s quite comfortable to plan them just a day in advance based on the weather. I read quite a few mixed reviews before going, but I can assure anyone going to the Serai - that they would have a great time. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay, weather was great and the entire family enjoyed the experience. The drive was just 4 hours from Bangalore so that was very convenient too!

Setai Kabini is just a picture perfect resort on the banks of the Kabini reservoir. We had a wonderful stay for 3 nights here in a Waterfront Villa and were served extremely well by all the staff. The villa itself is not very spacious but is very well maintained. It was a bit far from the reception and restaurant but we always got their buggy service on call. The food was great and the breakfast buffet spread was all very decent. The overall property is huge and well maintained. Coming to the main attraction of Kabini, the wildlife safari; the resort manages the jeep/cantor booking for both the morning and afternoon safaris which starts from the JLR which is just few hundred metres away from Serai. Serai arranges for pickup and drop to JLR. We did one morning boat safari and one afternoon jeep safari. Unfortunately we couldn’t see the big cats but other than that we were lucky to see all the other animals with deers and elephants in hundreds. Overall we had a wonderful stay at Serai Kabini and would definitely recommend.

Excellent stay. Staff is the best. Brilliant food. Do try out Spa. I liked the non veg food especially Mangalore fish curry, mutton curry and chicken curry. The quantity of the food is good You can have bonfire, it's amazing Overall excellent
