Howard Johnson Hotels in Mystic

My buddy and I stayed for a week. We wanted to go fishing offshore, and the location is great for access to a number of different boat launches. There's no room service, but they do have a take out window at the restaurant. The food is acceptable, and is best for breakfast. The rooms are very clean, the microwave, and fridge worked fine, but they turn down the fridge to it's lowest setting (warm), they also remove the control knob so you can't make it any cooler. Without calling the front desk. You're in a high tourist area, with lots of restaurants, and fast food. I would stay there again, because I like the Eggs Benedict. Lastly, be careful who you book your room thru, so you don't have problems with third party bookings. Be sure to confirm your room after booking or paying for your room in advance of your stay!
