Royal Orchid Metropole Mysore offers a delightful blend of heritage charm and modern comfort. The rooms have been very nicely and thoughtfully renovated, preserving the classic elegance of the property while adding contemporary touches that enhance the overall experience. The attention to detail in the room design is impressive, creating a cozy yet luxurious ambiance that makes you feel right at home. However, while the asset quality is commendable, the service is still somewhat hit and miss. There were moments of excellent service, where the staff was attentive and responsive, but these were interspersed with lapses that detracted from the overall experience. Simple requests were occasionally overlooked, and there were delays in addressing certain needs. The Royal Orchid Metropole has the potential to be a top-tier destination in Mysore, thanks to its beautiful renovation and historic charm. However, to fully match the quality of its rooms, the service needs more consistency and attention to detail. With some fine-tuning in this area, this hotel could easily become one of Mysore’s premier stays.

The best hotel in Mysore. The way it is built is like a kingdom. The people here are so friendly and there is even a PS4 i spent lot of tiem there. Royal orchid has to be the best hotel branches in india. They never disapoint me. The rooms are so good. The bathrooms are also good. With a bathtub too. The food was also good there. I really recommend coming here. It is the best. :) Thank you royal orchid metropole for the stay.

Great experience staying at the hotel. The property is maintained very well, is sparkling clean. Breakfast was a great spread and included south and North Indian food ***** with continental selection. Location of the hotel is very convenient to explore the city. Staff are professional, hospitable and very helpful. Definitely would stay around the next time and would recommend as well.

Our regular stay. Excellent. Always find clean and natural . Hospitality is excellent. Good service. Located in hot of mysore. Lot of lung space. Car parking. Open dining under tree shared. All rooms have huge balcony and night sit out area. Dine and discuss . Worth staying. Pranam

Unbeatable location and lots of services in a heritage building with a lot of style and clean. After several days staying there, Metropol Hotel is home. All the staff is welcoming, ultra efficient and very warm. The team at reception is easy and got anything we asked for our visit. The team at the restaurant understood our necessities and created the perfect menu for us. We would like to mention particularly the good work of Kunar, so close, so quick and so efficient. Undoubtedly, we will come back to Metropolis hotel.

El hotel es encantador y la piscina un lugar perfecto para descansar tras un día largo de turismo. En las cenas Kumar nos ha tratado muy bien y ayudado a elegir unos platos deliciosos. La comida muy rica y el lugar precioso. Todo el equipo del hotel es muy amable y servicial y nos han prestado su ayuda a la hora de contratar billetes o cualquier consulta. Very lovely and charming hotel. The food is also very good. Property is adjacent to many of the famous landmarks of the city and the whole hotel has an old world charm. The area is also very peaceful and in the morning a saxophone plays which is a nice touch. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

The property is quite good. Reception quite nice n refreshing. We were there from 06-08-2024 till 08-08-2024 in Room no 203. The breakfast was a paid one. First day on 07-08, worms were found in cinnamon roll. Second day on 08-08, insects in cold milk pot. Both incidents brought to the notice of staff. Kumar in restaurant was so callous, that , he spelt my daughter's name wrong on the cake, inspite of the fact that the cake n decoration was served at a price of Rs5000/-. The food was way way below par. Restaurant was so bad that, the lemon grass rice was perhaps the worst we had in our life. Prices were humongous for the quality of food served. The poori served on 08-08 was so bad that it was dripping oil. Hygiene of the restaurant was not at all visible. All in all, the entire feeling of staying in a heritage property stood totally wiped out because of the incompetent, sub-standard kitchen, unhygienic food pointing towards a third rated chef keeping in mind that the supporting staff was equally bad.
