Carolina Grande is a wonderful place to stay when in Myrtle Beach. It is centrally located and it is a Gold Crown Resort.

We were chilling @ the Carolina Grande in February! One warm day migrated into a deep bone chill, almost overnight. But we survived as Carolina Grande was prepared and has a great setup. We travel on RCI a few times a year and this 3 bedroom suite was a fun trip to the beach. The rooms were nice, clean and spacious; dishwasher, full kitchen, washer/dryer, balcony full view of the ocean. We were pleased with this pre-Hilton stay, will book again.

This is the 2nd year - total of 9 weeks spent at this location. Love the access to the beach, and since it's OFF/LOW SEASON, there is no hustle and bustle of the crowds. I personally like that more. Large unit, well stocked and staff are amazing!!!

We stayed here for a week over Christmas in order to visit with family that live in the area. The staff are very pleasant and helpful! The unit itself is older as well as the furniture. The appliances were newer as I understand this is a Bluegreen policy to replace them every 5 years. The unit appeared to be surface clean, but there was lots of dust on the light fixtures and other hard surfaces. There was a decorative pillow on the chair that was basically shredded. I suggested it be thrown in the trash. We were on the pool level with a pool view, but the pool was closed for repairs. We did have pool privileges at the Anderson across the street, but we didn't bother. The parking spots are tiny and if you are in a pickup truck you will be too tall to enter beyond the unloading area. We were using RCI points so I guess this resort is their standard, but I will stay at a newer property in the future.

We've been Blue Green Members for 5 years and we're still delighted by our experiences. We go to Myrtle Beach once year, plus explore new locations. We really appreciate the Blue Green kitchens. Though my wife and I are foodies, nothing beats a quite night home and a home cooked meal. We found very fresh grouper and veggies at a local market, which we sautéed. We also had some cranberry relish, with port wine, that we brought from home. Easy, and yummy. #LoveMyBluegreen, @bluegreenvacations

the size of the unit was great. kitchen was not well-equipped. was lacking a lot of the supplies we find in other condo unit. (for instance, had to ask for measuring cups/spoons) we like to cook to keep costs down and wouldn't have been able to store leftovers and very few actual cooking pots/pans/etc. there were 3 bowls with lids and that was it aside from the regular plates and bowls. the resort was in a great location. knowing what i know now, i'd go back but be better prepared. able to check out games from the front desk was great, especially since we were there in low season. can imagine you would be disturbed by noise in high season staying by the elevators like we were because sound traveled easily and heard all the conversations of the people waiting on the elevator when we were in the unit.

Clean, not on beach but only one block to beach, good location, lots of restaurants shopping on Kings Hwy which is only 2 blocks from resort. Boardwalk is 1.5 miles. No fitness center, no breakfast option, no beach chairs. They allow use of fitness center across the street. Units have beach/ pool towels. Pool is not heated. Hot tub was awesome. 4 people can comfortably sleep in unit. 7 am - 12 noon coffeee machine in lobby was awesome.

Enjoyed staying at this resort, this was the 3rd. time. The staff makes this a resort worth returning to. Just wish they ad a weight/exercise room to work out in, instead of going across the street at a sister resort. We will plan to go back in late winter.
