Affordable Suites Myrtle Beach

Place is very affordable. We were in town to visit my daughter who's attending CCU. We left for the day Saturday morning and when I returned Saturday evening. I could see that my personal bags had been gone through. There was no cleaning service performed, so they can't say things were moved for cleaning. No signs of forced entry or break in, can only assume someone had a key card or master key. Luckily, I left nothing of value in any of my bags. I grabbed all my belongings and left immediately, did not stay the second night had booked. Didn't think to phone the police, just got myself out of there Photo on the left is my bags when we left Saturday morning, right photo is how things looked when I returned. Strongly suggest avoiding this place!

So, I stayed here last year, same time of the year for a baseball tournament for my son. Price is certainly affordable and LAST year, there were no problems at all. Unfortunately this year, I didn’t find the same. For starters, bugs everywhere. Little gnats or something flying everywhere. Also, some cockroaches as well. Last year i was on the second floor as opposed to the first this year. Maybe that had something to do with no bugs last year?? Who knows. Also, there was no shower curtain in the bathroom. Batteries in remotes didn’t work. Internet was pretty bad (note: I didn’t really expect there to be solid internet …but working remotely, I literally had to work from Starbucks because and work from there because it was that bad). Again- the good parts of this place are location and price, and Phil the manager. But, the bads outweighed the goods this year. I’ll definitely be looking for a different place next trip here.

Phil, is the property manager. He was very polite and helpful. Our room was very clean and had everything you needed for your stay. Sheets towels and so forth. You do need to bring a hair dryer and pot holders if you do intend to cook. We went over to the little store around the corner Pop over or something. We got the items we needed. The bedroom has blinds but the room gets real bright early. We didn’t like that. Housekeeping did a great job. We were happy with our stay
