Palette Resort Myrtle Beach

This resort applied everything we asked for. It may need a little tlc but for the price we were very s satisfied.

When we pulled up to the property there is not a big enough professional sign posted for people to find the resort. Parking is so small and tight only 4 cars at a time can pull up but have to be in and out because you end up getting blocked in or you cant get in. How they charge you for your stay is ridiculous. You have to pay if you want your room clean you have to ask for towels then exchange them out for new ones. Why is there a kitchenette in the room if you have to pay for cooking supplies and hope there are available. The hallways were so dirty our room was not properly cleaned before we arrived. We could barely open the sliding door. The screws were so loose the handle came off and we had to aak for maintenance 4 times before someone came 3 hours later. A complete failure I definitely not be returning.

Friendly front desk staff. They only clean the rooms once every 5 days and if you want it more frequently you have to pay a fee. The rooms were dirty there were stains on one of the comforters. The TV was broken and had to be replaced as soon as we got there. The screen door was stuck shut. There were no meals provided. The elevators stunk and were dirty. Towels had to be brought down to the front desk and then they would give you new ones. The garage had a bunch of broken equipment and trash In it. Had to go through it to access the beach or go around to end of the block. When coming back the elevator needed a code which was not provided to us so we had to walk around to the front door which felt inconvenient.

We had a wonderful stay at the Palette beach resort. The staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We loved the location of our room—It was just steps away from both the pool and the beach, making it easy to enjoy the best of both worlds. Our room was clean and comfortable, with extra blankets provided for added coziness. The King bed was very comfortable and the microwave was brand new and worked perfectly. It’s also clear that the resort is making upgrades to enhance the guest experience which we really appreciate. That said, there are a few improvements that could make the stay even better. The hallways and main floor could benefit from brighter lighting, and added lights around the pool area would make it more inviting in the evenings. Our refrigerator ran loudly through the night, which made it a bit hard to sleep, and unfortunately, our TV didn’t work even after maintenance tried to fix it. Lastly, having a designated storage space for cleaning carts would help keep the main gathering area looking tidy and welcoming Overall, this resort offers a great beachside experience with a friendly team and ongoing improvements. With just a few tweaks, it could easily become a five-star stay.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My stay at the Palette Resort in Myrtle Beach was a complete nightmare from start to finish. The bathroom door didn’t even lock which is basic privacy and safety. The pools were absolutely filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned or maintained properly in quite some time. What really pushed me over the edge was the blatant false advertising. The listing claimed there was a bar and grill on sit there was no bar, no grill, and no explanation. Just a flat-out lie to get people to book. I didn’t feel safe having my family there, and ultimately had to leave and pay out of pocket to book another hotel last-minute. I’ve requested a refund and am still waiting, with no clear communication or resolution. Do yourself a favor: Avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of better, cleaner, and honest options in Myrtle Beach
